This figure is you, and the Character version is the one they tell you not to worry about.

I’d say the score is 1 to 1. This figure looks a lot cheaper and tackier when compared to the CO version, even if CO’s reuses parts. Maybe it’s just the paint apps that do this figure injustice, or maybe it’s something more. Either way, I think I’m gonna pass on this.

The coat and t-shirt paint aps are awful, but the head sculpt is pretty decent

Looks more like Jodie than the CO version. The CO version doesn’t even have the right eye color.

In comparison to the CO version it does fall short. I will say that if someone said this was a picture of a 3.75 scale figure, it wouldn’t be too bad…

I wish this figure was 3.75. Not for me, I don’t collect them, but for those who do, it’d be nice to have Seven20 making those and keeping up that line for those who collect them, while CO continue making the 5″ scale figures. That seems like a nice way to make everyone happy.

All comments have been put through now, nothing left out.

Have your say but please keep it nice people.

Sometimes you have to commit to something without knowing the end result.

We have to assume this is the approved final version, things maybe different when its in hand.

I would give my honest thoughts about how this figure looks, but I don’t want to be banned from commenting on this site.

All I will say is, it could’ve been a lot better.

I don’t know if this is the prototype or the final product but in either of those standards, the character version looks a lot better. I mean, this could be improved but so far it just doesn’t look as good as the character one as the now.

Okay, they can make a good sonic, but character deffinitely have the better action figure by far.

The rainbow is way too thick
    The proportions are very off
    That wierd waxy look…

    No…Just no…

Actually the coat looks odd, I think this may be a photoshopped image so it may not be the final product. But I wouldn’t hope for something wildly different to this.

i don’t know how the USA would may differ to the UK, but generally the image used at retail is the approved final version that has probably already gone it to production, that was certainly the case with the Character one.

      There have been exceptions though

Well… the US got the better Sonic Screwdriver, but I reckon the UK are getting the better figure. Unless this is a prototype of course

Right…. firstly I gotta ask is this the final product cause if so I feel sorry for the U.S. market… I mean is it just me or does it look like one of those cheap £1.00 things you can get in those vending machines in supermarkets and pubs etc… I mean she looks cheap but also like she is made of ceramic. The hair reminds me of those ceramic dogs you somtimes find at car boots. Also ain’t the shirt inaccurate?

Well, they may have made a sonic with a spinny bit – but they’ve got nothing on character when it comes to the figures! Pretty shocking honestly… even for what seems to be a prototype.
