None at the Chadderton store but managed to find them all a few miles up the road at the Oldham store. Love the weeping angels!

There was 1 eleventh Dr set left on the shelves. I was told they only had one box of 6 sets delivered but they should get more.

Aww man, this is a set I’d really like aswell, but I unfortunately don’t live on mainland UK, so I can’t really get these anywhere besides eBay, and they’re going for £80 there, for some odd reason.

Picked up the 4th Doctor set in B&M’s in Bradford, they had one of each of the new sets on the shelf, all looked to be excellent paint jobs, and really rather chuffed with my new long scarfed 4th Doctor!

…..although, a shame that I’ve already got the two other figures, would have been REALLY chuffed if it’d also had a Pyramids Mummy and a Morbius cos I missed out on getting them first time round!

When the classic line first started out, I didn’t pay much attention. I was rather young at the time, and had only just started my classic VHS collection.

Consequently, (and after a recent desire to begin collecting, particularly as you’ll notice, Doctors and companions) my classic collection consists of:
Wave 1 4th, 5th and 6th Doctors (I wasn’t entirely ignorant of the classics, and I wanted some old Doctors)
Wave 1 Voc robot (as a present)
    The Eleven Doctors set
1st and 7th Doctor Toys R Us 50th Dalek sets
    Peri & Sil
    Ace (RotD)
    Leela (TFoE)
Claws of Axos set (Jo, Brig & Axon)

I deeply regret not starting this collection earlier and I would welcome more re-releases! One thing I would particularly like to see in my collection are the TARDISes – including the 10th Doctor’s which I never had the chance to get for myself. I think that they (maybe with a couple of extra variants with other Doctors, something as simple as a repaint could make them extra money – Although I know that all basic models were released except the 8th Doctor’s and the 2nd-3rd Doctor’s tweaked roof model ‘1b’) could easily be released as a range, maybe one every few months. They could have a Doctor, a companion or even an enemy alongside them. Even shops like Toys R Us, Argos and Tesco must surely understand the value of such a range.

      non are

the only real variant is the weeping angel red/rusty effect

the are some other very minor differences such as D84 painted on rather than a sticker

      July 20th, 2015 - 2:05pm

    • booboo

      July 20th, 2015 - 2:39pm

mine is blank so it must have been a sticker

i wont be getting this as i already have the original FP exclusive ones but its nice for others to be able to get D84 from the very first classic wave as he is pretty rare now! just hope the quality control on them are the same as the originals, for the people that are going to buy them.
