Love the look of the box, but the first thing I did upon taking the TARDIS out of the box was to paint the bottom left and bottom right panels of each window white. It could do with a slight bit of weathering, but other than that it’s a great product.

August 16th, 2014 - 7:16amI don’t like the paler blue exterior. And it looks like this will actually be the exterior for Capaldi’s TARDIS exterior! With all the hype for Capaldi being a darker Doctor, does it really make sense to give him an almost sky blue TARDIS? It’s far too cheap and plasticky looking for me. My favourite exteriors are the original William Hartnell one, the TV movie one and Matt Smith’s, but only in The Snowmen where it was beaten and battered. I think the TARDIS looking like dark, weathered wood is far more effective than anything pristine or clean

It would be nice to have the white windows, but I don’t mind too much
My only real gripe is that it has the old interior, but it’s not major and I understand why that it is like it is
If I didn’t already have wave 1’s I would defo get it, but I do, so I’ll pass

August 15th, 2014 - 10:27amI was just outside a shop called Time Was in Newark (Nottinghamshire) and saw this in the window, however the shop was closed and dark so I couldn’t get one, but I did think it looked a darker blue, it was still in the new packaging. Could just be an illusion as a consequence of the dark but I don’t think it was this shade…

Why they haven’t used Capaldi’s interior in this toy, his TARDIS exterior is a lighter blue, so why have Smith’s interior when you can have THE CURRENT DOCTOR’S INTERIOR!

Toys are planned months in arrears – these were made in April – Just because we see it in pictures now doesn’t mean there were any back then.

in regards to the interior, I’m not fussed on whether it’s the new orange or not, this looks amazing in its packaging with its new colour. Besides that…this image is only a promo pic so until someone actually has it to hand, we wont know what interior will be used.

August 14th, 2014 - 6:36pmOoh, a TARDIS which has 2 differences to the one I currently own: the box which I will immediately throw away is different, and the shade of blue, in my opinion, isn’t as nice or as TARDIS-like. Great, definitely gonna get this (not).

August 14th, 2014 - 8:58pmI entirely appreciate that some people don’t have a TARDIS, I am just stating that a) I don’t think that this is at all an improvement, b) it could at least have the new interior, and c) I would advise anyone who doesn’t have the money to buy every piece of 3.75″ merchandise and who already has the older model not to buy this one.
