It appears the arrival of this set in toys r us stores maybe immanent as some stock was available at the Sheffield event.

its irresponsible to tell people they are out across the Uk (not directed at you) as people get their hopes up and make waisted journeys
if its immanent then they need to get it up for order on their website – not everyone has a toys r us near them
just tries numerous stores around the country and none of them have them

September 7th, 2014 - 11:42amI have just been at the Sheffield branch of Toys R Us. I can confirm that the Day of the Doctor sets have reached TRU, but they appear to be in limited quantities. I think they only had around two dozen and they all went to kids there for the event. Quite right too. I’m not sure of the price as I didn’t go specifically for the Doctor Who related reasons.

Happens a lot with figures sets, so round it down a bit to make it seem better value for money, so would most likely if not definitely be £19.99
