April 7th, 2016 - 2:52pmBack from my ‘local’ Toy R Us, and I just found a Supreme Dalek at the very back of one of the pegs (I feel like they hid it there just for me lol)!!!! Very happy about that! I also I picked up a spacesuit 12th Doctor and annoyingly his right hand feels very loose and the joint feels very dodgy, so I think I’ll have to glue it, which is a bit of a shame, but other than that it’s not a bad figure minus the quality control!

December 3rd, 2015 - 9:55amTotally agree, there are lot more things then can do, even the 2006 Cybermen. The Asylum dalek could do with looking more like its been in an Asylum as I think the gold shows too much. I think there have been way too many re-releases of the Cyberman, Amy pond and the Doctors. Between Wave 3A and the new set there has been 11 doctors and companions and 6 Daleks, that’s 17 out of 21 with just Doctors, companions and Daleks. They need to review their Wave release.

December 3rd, 2015 - 4:51pmIt is unfortunate that almost every figure since Wave 2/3A really had been a variant of a Doctor (10-12), Amy, Clara & Dalek. The Daleks are at least different characters. There are plenty of 3.75″ figs that could sell. Including:
Some of the earlier Doctors, especially 4, 5, 7 and 9.
Some earlier Cyberman, particularly the Cybus (2006-2010), main 80s version (Earthshock/Attack) and the Moonbase/Tomb variant.
More popular Companions (mainly New series) such as Sarah Jane, Rose, K9, Donna
Recent monsters. These don’t always sell that well apparently, but some will.From Series 9, there’s the Mire & possibly Colony Saarf, from Series 8, the Teller.
Older New Series Monsters such as New Sontarans, New Silurians, the Silence, Judoon.
As for Classic (“unique) Monsters and Classic Companions well, I don’t think too many of them will be in this scale. Maybe a Classic Sontaran would sell, maybe Leela or Jo Grant, maybe the K1 Robot, Robot Mummy, Sea Devil, but I wouldn’t hold out on them in this scale.

November 28th, 2015 - 4:27pm@ Doctor Number 10….. Don’t worry, the 3.75″ line isn’t going anywhere for a while. That is the scale that the figure line is doing now. The 5.5″ line is the collectors figures. We will continue to get more and more waves of 3.75″ figures in the future. Even now, there is 2 Missy’s and 2 Classic Daleks that are going to be coming out soon!

Initially i thought TRU didn’t have my order, but it’s because I ordered with a “guest” account that meant it didn’t show up.

I got a lovely paint job on my cyberdanny tall without gun and great new power cap on chest centre he is a slightly different shade of silver and looks fantastic. 12th purple shirt is a great mould moves well and strong. still no red lining. will paint on my own lining.12th spacesuit is a great figure very lush feels amazing in hand and the spiders are well made and have great detail. Dr’s helmet fits in hole in waist at back and slips on his head easily. hand joints are a little stiff bit worried they might break but ok at moment. am gonna get a few of all of these for the kids xmas . instead of clara and rusty I got the Evil of the daleks 2 set and these are very good too well painted and move well. thank you

Especially considering they are the ONLY Stockist of these figures. Disgusted they fouled up my Order & not at all impressed with there Customer Service attitude either!

November 8th, 2015 - 11:32amA nice wave overall. I won’t be getting all of them (I have Rusty and Clara from the ITD set), but nice to see a cheap and cheerful line for kids.
I have no problem with the 3.5 inch range, it’s a great business move especially towards the younger market who can’t afford the 5 inch line, and as a collector I’ll buy the odd few that look excellent (eg The Foretold) but it’s nice to see two lines running side by side. And for those who can’t afford 5 inch the option is available.
All 6 for £42, you can’t really go wrong with that.
