TARDISTIK
April 17th, 2012 - 5:31pmDoes anyone else think that for the 50th Anniversary Calendar they could have a month for each Doctor (i.e. January – 1st Doctor, February – 2nd Doctor etc.) and maybe a month with them all on (say June as its near the middle) and then proceed with the individual Doctors (July – 6th Doctor, August – 7th Doctor).
Justininferno
April 17th, 2012 - 4:08pmAll the pics are from s6, so thats been done. Wait for the 50th anniversary edition that the BBC are producing, that makes a whole lot more sense for 2013!
McGann is the Doctor
April 17th, 2012 - 12:03pmWhat gives ? They’ve made this before Series 7 is out, so it will just be stuff from Series 6 while Series 7 is the current one ? CONFUSED, DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.
Old Series 6 stuff, and still no Idris on the calender, NOT GETTING IT. 😡
Anonymous
April 17th, 2012 - 3:53pmAnd chances are it won’t just be that series, but the one after it as well, depending on how the 50th is broadcast (very likely with another series as well).
Dr who who
April 16th, 2012 - 9:14pmWhy using picture from series 2 and 4. The Cyberman is from series 2 with cybus logo and the santaran is from series 4. Apart from that good
the astronaut of death
April 16th, 2012 - 6:56pmboobooo why have they this time done a 16 month calander not a 12 month calander
booboo
April 16th, 2012 - 6:58pmthis company has always done them but they have not done Doctor Who calenders before i think. The calenders you have seen before are made by Danilo in the UK so for 2013 you are going to have a few choices
Nicholas
April 16th, 2012 - 6:49pmWhat does Mead mean?
booboo
April 16th, 2012 - 6:50pmthe company who makes them as opposed to Danilo. Mead are in the USA
the astronaut of death
April 16th, 2012 - 6:52pmhave they made all the past doctor who calanders
booboo
April 16th, 2012 - 6:52pmthere have been loads in the past
The Monitor
April 16th, 2012 - 8:52pmI saw a different version of the 2012 calendar on Amazon. It must have been a Mead version. I should have got it, but it was rather costly and you can never be 100% certain that when you buy US products in the UK that you actually get the US version. They often use different images, just as the series 6 DVD box set image is different (arguably better).

April 16th, 2012 - 9:02pmI have asked them for any more info
the astronaut of death
April 16th, 2012 - 6:42pmvery good but i think im going to wait till the 50th doctor who annerversery calandet comes out so i can se what that looks like

3. 2013
The SherlockianWhovian
April 16th, 2012 - 6:30pmI’m hoping the 50th aniversery one will be 3D! That’s be cool! Picture is a 3D one! What do you think? Or will 3D Colin Baker be a bit too much? Haha
McGann is the Doctor
April 17th, 2012 - 11:58amI don’t think there will be older Doctors there, to be honest, there should be the last three Doctors, McGann David Tennant and if Christopher is willing to , then him aswell.
The SherlockianWhovian
April 17th, 2012 - 8:29pmI mean a calender! A 3D calender! But still a 3D episode would be awesome!
Alan Dobbie
April 18th, 2012 - 12:33pmThe last 3D episode (in fact the only 3D episode) was Dimensions in Time – the only time that Tom Baker actually came back as the Doctor – and I know people knock it, but it was good to see the sixth Doctor and Brigadier together on screen.
Commander Strax
April 18th, 2012 - 3:56pmO.MY.GOD.
JJ
April 16th, 2012 - 6:26pmI’m annoyed there not doing any series 8 in 2013, t wud hav been good. But no! 🙁 Only 6 eps and 8 next year, i think if they don’t do series 8, then it’ll be 5 later this year, 4 in easter next year and 4 in autumn next year for 50th anniversary 🙁
booboo
April 16th, 2012 - 6:28pmthere are supposed to be more episodes for the 50th
The SherlockianWhovian
April 16th, 2012 - 6:34pmThere is series seven part one this year (eps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,) the part two next year (6, 7, 8, 9, 10 , 11, 12, 13) THEN series 8! Moffat said last year don’t worry it’s happening!
Nicholas
April 16th, 2012 - 6:48pm2012 – 5 Episodes + Xmas (SERIES 7 PART 1)
2013 – 6 Episodes (SERIES 7 PART 2)
2013 – Series 8
Liason Ice
April 17th, 2012 - 6:56amI wish Moffat would stop splitting up the series
they should just go back to all 13 episodes straight up
McGann is the Doctor
April 17th, 2012 - 12:01pmNah, I like it being split, if it’s the same series, 13 episodes is so much.
Personally, I think the series should go back to every story being split into a half hour part, and two parts of that episode every week, like in Peter Davison’s first season.
That way, the stories would be longer, and less material and creativity goes to waste.
I mean, the Beast Below, such a fantastic, original idea, wasted on a running time less than 45 minutes, that really isn’t fair, the stories should be an average of 90 minutes and that would work !

April 16th, 2012 - 5:55pmIs this definitely the 50th anniversary one.

April 16th, 2012 - 4:54pmWhy has the 2013 calendar got series 6 images in it, rather than the forthcoming series 7 episodes? Good images, great character and monsters…but I’m just surprised that’s all.
booboo
April 16th, 2012 - 4:59pmas i have explained these (and any other companies calendars) have to to print months before 2013 to get them in the shops – as it stands i doubt there will be any series 7 images in any 2013 calendar as they will all go to print before the series even starts.
Same goes for annuals and diaries
drwhofan4ever
April 16th, 2012 - 4:41pmbut there are 13 pictures yet there are only 12 months in a year
Jaketor Who
April 16th, 2012 - 5:40pmIts a 16 month calender. It says so in the bottom right corner of the front cover
Jason doctorwhoone
April 16th, 2012 - 4:35pm16 month 2013 calander ? . . . . surely that’s a typing error, theres only 12 months in a year !!.
I hope a Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Calender will be produced, featuring a whole range of images from the series past and present from 1963 till now.
The Monitor
April 16th, 2012 - 4:39pmThere has been 16 month calendars before from more than one company.
I hope that if a 50th Anniversary calendar is produced, then it is by a company with a little more imagination. These calendars just simply do not reflect the dynamic brilliance of the programme.

April 16th, 2012 - 12:04pmyou have to remember calenders and annuals go to print months before the year starts so they have to use available images. there will be no series 7 images on any 2013 calendar that i can see
