‘I do hope you’re all ready to be terrified!’
The Phaeron disappeared from the universe over a million years ago. They travelled among the stars using roads made from time and space, but left only relics behind.
But what actually happened to the Phaeron? Some believe they were they eradicated by a superior force… Others claim they destroyed themselves.
Or were they in fact the victims of an even more hideous fate?
In the far future, humans discover the location of the last Phaeron road – and the Doctor and Clara join the mission to see where the road leads. Each member of the research team knows exactly what they’re looking for – but only the Doctor knows exactly what they’ll find.
Because only the Doctor knows the true secret of the Phaeron: a monstrous secret so terrible and powerful that it must be buried in the deepest grave imaginable…

April 25th, 2015 - 5:58pmLike how they have kept the style in with the 2014 ones (the dr and Clara up front, something at the bottom then the title in a weird font)
Esterath
April 25th, 2015 - 8:48pmThat’s the same it’s been since 2005 minus the fonts being different. 😛 The only time it changed was in 2013.

April 25th, 2015 - 4:59pmThe first thing I thought of when I read that was that it’d be related to Gary Russell’s Eleventh Doctor book The Glamour Chase (possibly featuring The Glamour again?). Seems possible since he’s also writing one of these.

April 25th, 2015 - 3:05pmIt can also apply to ‘casting a spell’ or a ‘state of perception’
Al
April 25th, 2015 - 2:05pmThe term is used in Scots folklore to refer to a shapeshifter.
Nobody in particular
April 25th, 2015 - 10:18amI’m assuming these are going to fit into some story arc, since they all have ‘The Glamour Chronicles’ printed across the front. Bit of a peculier title though
Anonymous
April 25th, 2015 - 11:13amHoping they will tell us what order they are in? These New Series Adventures are up to about 50 released titles now but they have never ever given a running order numberwise?
The Twelfth Doctor
April 25th, 2015 - 11:33amAnd perhaps they haven’t revealed the ‘Big Bang Generation’ cover because it reveals something about the story arc?
Al
April 25th, 2015 - 2:06pm@Anonymous: Actually the Ninth and Tenth Doctor releases were numbered. Those Gallifreyan symbols on the spine were numbers so if you knew what they meant you could work out the order. They dropped the idea when the books were redesigned for the Eleventh Doctor.
Anonymous
April 25th, 2015 - 3:02pmI knew about the Gallifreyan Symbols but a simple 1, 2, 3 on the spine would have been much more concise & clearer without messing about.

April 25th, 2015 - 10:40pmJoe do you know this years and last years are in that order
76 Totters Lane
April 26th, 2015 - 12:18amAt the back of each book it advertises the other ones and with a bit of deduction you can see the order they go in.
For example:
‘Silhouette’ lists ‘The Crawling Terror’ and ‘The Blood Cell’
‘The Crawling Terror’ lists ‘Silhouette’ and ‘The Blood Cell’
‘The Blood Cell’ lists ‘Silhouette’ and ‘The Crawling Terror’
So, it goes ‘Silhouette’ – ‘The Crawling Terror’ – ‘The Blood Cell’
As for the ones released this year, I’ve just gone by the release dates for the audio readings of them and put them in that order.
