Doctor Who 11th Doctor B&M Exclusive 5″ Figure Set.

  • The 11th Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver
  • Weeping Angel
  • Projected Weeping Angel

The Doctor and Amy emerge from the TARDIS to find the wreck of the Byzantium spaceship. Down below the Weeping Angels are stirring…

Possessing a natural and unique defence mechanism, the Angels are quantum locked. This means that they can only move when no other living creature, including their own kind, is looking at them.

As soon as they are observed, they instantly turn to stone and cannot be killed.

Nearest B&M is an hour away from me & has only just opened as a new branch. Was going to ‘phone & check this out? Luckily I pulled one on ebay for £20 so it’s saved me the train fare!

Hi guys could anyone help? I dont understand why the weeping angel is brown and why there is only 3 sets made when on the back of the packaging it says all the doctors.

    • booboo

      July 25th, 2015 - 8:52am

the brown is probably a heavily weathered effect for one that had been still for a long time

When companies design packaging they have to use a style guide supplied by the BBC and this includes the “banner” you see listing all the Doctors, a smaller boc would show them as you see them here

you put the Doctor the merchandise refers to at the end

I’m thinking of buying this and I’d customise the translucent angel and make it a normal one because I have one already, but no idea over that double eleventh doctor

    • DoctorWho

      July 25th, 2015 - 8:50am

I think it the doctor has different printing on his white shirt… The red lines but im not sure

      July 25th, 2015 - 6:27pm

      Sarah Jane Adventures version?

    July 21st, 2015 - 6:20pm

If I got this would I be able to paint the screaming angel or would the paint chip off after drying ?

    • cyberdoctor42

      July 21st, 2015 - 8:31pm

If you’re going to paint it use acrylics and clean the figure in warm, soapy water beforehand.

  • doctorgeorgebaker

    July 21st, 2015 - 12:44pm

got it today, the new angel looks awesome

  • Luke

    July 20th, 2015 - 6:26pm

    • The Silent Silent

      July 20th, 2015 - 6:42pm

      Rip Off.

Saw on set for £80. Absolutely ludicrous

    • Anonymous

      July 20th, 2015 - 8:11pm

Yeah, disgusting! I don’t begrudge someone making a slight profit but £80 & nearly £6 postage? I was weeping into my cornflakes when I saw it at £29.99p let alone £35! Damn flippers get everywhere!!

    • TimLord

      July 20th, 2015 - 9:59pm

I got mine for £10….why would people even to try to that amount of money when u can just by the figures seperatly

    • Anonymous

      July 21st, 2015 - 8:16am

Ridiculous considering they are no it out in the shops properly yet

    • mick

      July 21st, 2015 - 10:47am

do not pay £80 for it as I think there is still a lot of stock at b&m central warehouse still to come out to stores.

    • mick

      July 21st, 2015 - 3:47pm

the £80 ones have now gone down to £50 still far too much to pay.

    • Anonymous

      July 21st, 2015 - 8:03pm

Make’s you wonder if those seller’s frequent this forum? Suddenly the £80 one dropped to £50 & the postage to £3 & the £35 dropped to £29.99p. I put an Offer in of £20 for one of the £29.99p sellers which I thought was quite reasonable? It covered the cost of the set, postage, fees & a small profit but they declined. I certainly know someone has stolen the pictures from this site to advertise their listing quite blatantly.

    • cyberdoctor42

      July 21st, 2015 - 8:37pm

Those people not only take advantage of massive fans but also take all of the fun out of things like character building blind bags by lowering the chance of getting one you want because people who aren’t even interested in the series are buying them.

    • The Silent Silent

      July 21st, 2015 - 8:41pm

      Please elaborate @ cyberdoctor42

In the b&m stores they r £12.99 just got one but they said that they hav been reduced from £19.99 which is wierd…

    • booboo

      July 25th, 2015 - 8:53am

odd, they were never on sale at £19.99

  • thehostproductions

    July 20th, 2015 - 11:03am

alright set for people who want weeping angels haha, wont be getting it though as i would only need the new brown-ish one but i’m not really fussed on it, nice for others to be able to get them for such a cheap price to!

    July 20th, 2015 - 4:26am

Booboo is the Reddish/Brown Weeping Angel a new repaint? It certainly look’s like it & is all the better for it.

    • booboo

      July 20th, 2015 - 7:49am

      yes its new

    • Anonymous

      July 20th, 2015 - 10:37am

Just have to buy it at double the price on ebay then. No B&M local to me. They really should do Mail Order.

    • DS

      August 5th, 2015 - 8:05pm

I saw these in our local B&M (all three sets)

I was really impressed with the repaints.

The repainted Eleventh Doctor jacket shows that if they wanted to do a TV Movie Seventh Doctor it is very much achievable.
Those interested in customs might want to use this.

It is also nice to see three doctors with monsters/companions from their era.
It would be nice if this extends to other classic doctors.

  • Dalek the Supreme

    July 19th, 2015 - 10:15pm

On one hand, I already have a 5 inch Eleventh Doctor.

On the other hand, I don’t have Weeping Angels in any scale, and these ones look great.

  • The Silent Silent

    July 19th, 2015 - 9:46pm

I actually need all 3 of these figures 🙂

  • StetsonDoctor

    July 19th, 2015 - 7:45pm

I heard that the normal Weeping Angel is slightly translucent-is this true?

    • Andy Thorpe

      July 19th, 2015 - 8:38pm

I was the one that said this abd to be honest i may be mistaken but I’m pretty sure its been made with translucent plastic then painted in red and brown

    • booboo

      July 19th, 2015 - 8:44pm

its grey plastic by the looks of mine

    • Andy Thorpe

      July 19th, 2015 - 10:52pm

Like i said i may be mistaken.

    Ooh, my tweet

  • Trenzalore

    July 19th, 2015 - 3:42pm

Wow! This is an excellent deal. The figures from the fourth doctor set would usually cost up to £50.00, maybe more.

What I can’t understand is why they’ve gone from the world famous SDCC to B&M bargains (my nearest one is a good 45 minutes away 🙁 But I’ll be damned if I let that stop me getting these wonderful items 😀 ).

Just hope I get them in time, I’ll bet they’re all hugely popular. Finally, Is that sort of red weeping angel a new variant?

    • Andy Thorpe

      July 19th, 2015 - 3:48pm

Well when I was in B & M earlier and looked at the weeping angels they both looked like different versions of the looped angel. The redish coloured one certainly looked like it was translucent.

  • Andy Thorpe

    July 19th, 2015 - 3:33pm

The weeping angels in this set look awesome.

  • Jdog

    July 19th, 2015 - 3:25pm

Which Eleventh Doctor is included? Is it the one from the first Series 5 wave and The Eleven Doctors Figure Set?

    • akaloverboyz

      July 20th, 2015 - 4:34pm

yea or the newer release in the white shirt or bright blue shirt

    • DoctorWho

      July 25th, 2015 - 8:54am
