This may be a silly question but are these comics officially licensed by the BBC?

no, but, unlike many other things, the “Characters” belong to the writers rather than the BBC so thats how these are possible.

Bit like the Lethbridge-Stewart books or K9 spin off.

Booboo, Do you think this new line is too far from Dr Who in a niche market or would the Dr Who collection comunity except it as being part of Dr Who given time, I really valve your personal opinion but obviously it’s my choose whether to invest in this line. Is this to your taste or not, also how is your collection display going?

Probably not although some characters are a bit obscure, but the independent market only has a few Characters they can expand on, Omega is a different kettle of fish though.

It is a niche market though but it has its place i think, we have had videos, audio’s but not really comics from this expanded universe so good on them for venturing into this untested market.

Just ordered this along with their Douglas Adams play. And already looking forward to omega. I hope they sell well enough to keep them coming.

I only have to see him and I can hear that music from Attack when his gang are planning the heist. Great character it’s always nice when somebody crosses over into another story and with a different Doctor too.

This looks really good. If they’re looking for further characters, I think a Duggan series would work well.

Oh yes…a Duggan noir detective series would be fantastic! Great idea!

I always thought it was a shame he hasn’t turned up in Big Finish yet.

I’ll definitely be picking up the Lytton series in the meantime. John Ridgeway drawing an Omega series looks great too.
