ComicCon Exclusive Glow In dark The Statue of Liberty

ComicCon Exclusive Glow In dark The Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty: an icon of freedom and a welcoming signal for all arrivals into the United States. However, she’s actually one of the Doctor’s most fearsome adversaries: a time-energy-feeding Weeping Angel!

This new 8″ scaled-up incarnation of our hugely popular Doctor Who 3″ TITANS recreates the Statue of Liberty Weeping Angel – in all her menacing glory – from the instant-classic 2012 episode “The Angels Take Manhattan.”

*VERY Limited Numbers at Titan Booth #2142 – purchase limited to two pieces per Comic Con attendee*

I was worried about not being able to pick this piece up in England so I emailed Titan and they told me that this is the US exclusive and that the UK exclusive of this will be on-sale at the Doctor Who 50th Celebration in November

Yeah – Not exactly helpful are they? If you don’t have a ticket or can’t get there, then certain UK ebayers will be having a field day – Not happy about this at all!

Anyway we can get this in the UK without paying silly ebay quadruple prices?

The one seller I have seen is charging about £62 for the Liberty Angel Glow In The Dark PLUS £32 postage & the Doctor Variant is £37 PLUS £32 postage. I don’t begrudge a seller making a profit but that is £40 & £20 respectively. If I can’t get these from this line, I will consider jacking in collecting these. Variants fine – But hard-to-get exclusives from abroad don’t make this viable for me…

New York is my number 1 place in the whole world I want to go  I’ve always wanted to live in a big city like that. But I don’t think I will be able to go for this 😆

Is there any colour on this like the green effect because this looks white. I can’t imagine what it looked like when they first built it. It never used to be green.

The real Statue of Liberty was originally bronze but it was turned green because of air pollution etc: if that’s what you meant.

Yeah exactly what I meant, that’s why I said can’t imagine what it looked like when first built shining in the sun.
