March 20th, 2010 - 4:16pmLets see, Ive got six, no wait, four of the CSW2 figures. I bought the Three Ice Warriors as I told you all I would, no regrets there! And then ofcourse I bought my personal favourite of the Wave, The Morbius Monster. No, its not called the Morbius Creature because its NOT a creature its an unnatural man made abomination of science and Evil and it really is more of a monster/Vilain than a creature. TSK TSK TSK, Shamefull. And then I bought The mummy which I hate for my younger cousin aswell as the episode, the DVD front cover of which I do not care for. The Cyberman is so rare, I only ever saw it once. No cash at the time sadly. But today fellow Whovians a terriuble problem has arisen: THEYVE DISSAPEARD FROM ALL OF THE TESCOS! AAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO I`LL HAVE TO BUY THEM IN A CHILDRENS TOY SHOP AND I MIGHT BE SEEN BY SOMEONE FROM SCHOOL NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

February 7th, 2010 - 8:06amGot my Earthshock Cyberman, Mummy and Master from Forbidden Planet last week (pre-ordered before Xmas). My local Tesco has started stocking these figures for £7.97 each – it might be worth having a look there before going to Argos. They had Morbius Monster, Mummy and Ice Warrior. Not sure if it’s all Tesco stores – may just be extra stores.

February 1st, 2010 - 3:21pmIm back to write another comment, am I the only person who comments on this website? Where is everybody go? The fact that Argos is very much the only store releasing these figures for now, and most likely the only one for a very long time, it kinda ruins my plans.
Heres why:
As many of you will be aware, Argos never have more than two figures of any catalogue number E.G: Type in the number for EOT figures, The machine will either say none in stock, one in stock, or two in stock. NEVER EVER does that machine read 3 in stock, or four in stock, or five or six or seven in stock.
So getting Three Ice Warriors will be a tricky bussiness.
Originally the gig was to load my wallet with three tenners, run away to Stewart Millers, look around to make sure there is no one from school around to see me entering a toy shop (they wouldnt understand, and i just dont think i can handle rumours flying all over the place that I buy little kiddy toys), the cloast is cear, i mean the coast is clear, then go in, pick out three lovely Ice Warriors and by scott there you have it. You could never do this with Argos, youll be lucky if they have any figures at all never mind the one you want or three of the one you want.
I guess I will just have to wait and see when the figures are going to other stores. DAMN. But until then I think the dog has earned a treat, Ill buy The Master and The Morbius Monster but nothing else from Classic Wave 2. I want six Cybermen but that will take some dosh and a bit of time, and i couldnt be less interested in the mummy or robot, I think youll find they belong in the bottom of a bin and not on my display cabinet.
It will be nice getting to opern up an Ice Warrior, and then another :), and then another. All at the same moment, so Argos doesnt really suit for Classic Series Wave 2. If any fellowWhovian have news, or rumours or have heard any information regarding when these figures are coming to proper stores, be a hero.
Do what The Doctor would do and TYPE it into this website, ta. And when will someone else write a comment on this website? Maybe theyre still occupied trying to finish reading my gigantic sized comments! Or writing a letter of complaint. 🙁
DUN DUN DUNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!

January 26th, 2010 - 9:06amRead this if wondering about The Collect and Build Krynoid or if you have nothing else to do! Just read it any way.
You know, i had a nightmare last night, well not really it was just a bad dream.
The collect and build Krynoid, i believe is most likely cancelled. They had the Krynoid planned, they also had Classic Series Wave 2 planned as containing 8-9 figures, the cancelled figures are the 7th and 8th Doctors, the Seventh Doctor was to be in his costume as it appeared in the episode Ghostlight but you need not worry the Eleven Doctor Set is on its way…
So, they decided to make the Eleven Doctors set, but would there be much point if most Whovians already had all of the Doctors? So they cancelld the release of Doctor 7 and Doctor 8 in the classic wave, and seemingly also the Tenth planet Cyberman, perhaps because of there already being a Cyberman in the Wave and there being a classic Cyberman Tesco release which included the TP Cyberman. Since the Krynoid was designed to have eight-nine seperate collectable parts it was unsuitable for a six figure wave.
Or was it? Well, they could always have released more than one single part with the sets eg:
1 The Master: Krynoid head.
2 The Cyberman: Krynoid torso.
3 The mummy: Krynoid arm and hip.
4 The Ice Warrior: Krynoid arm 2.
5 The Morbius Monster: Krynoid leg 1.
6 VOC Robot: Krynoid leg 2 and tendrils.
Eight pieces included with six figures, easy peasy.
But really, why release a C+B Krynoid when four of the figures are brand new and two of them are repainted and some what difficult to get and would probably be bought any way because the fans want armies of them. Why not instead, save the c+b Krynoid for a future wave, one in which it will be more appropriate to ensure the wave is successful.
Confused at all? Compare Classic Wave 1 to Classic Wave 2. See what i mean? Zygon, Magnus Greel, The Sixth Doctor who is personally a favourite but otherwise mostly hated. Most people would probably only buy four or five out of the eight figures in Wave 1, thats why we have the K1 Robot to make all eight worth while.
But with Classic Wave 2, what Dr Who fan wouldnt want an emasciated Master or an Earth Shock Cyberman or even the incredible Morbius Monster? What flower needs nectar when the flower itslef is so appealing? What classic series wave requires a collect and build Krynoid when the wave itself is so poular and small?
So if you particularily want your Krynoid, you have something to look forward to with Classic Series Wave 3 which i guarantee will have a collect and build Krynoid. But until then you will just have to settle for what is available, no problem there!
I rest my case. Please dont tell me off for writing such gigantic comments. If people can read and want to read about important matters like said collect and build Krynoid then what harm is really done if the comment is and extensive essay? NONE.

January 26th, 2010 - 8:31amYou will see companions, and beside them you will see a very unfair price tag and a label reading “this item is currently (and always will be) out of stock, unlucky.”
Yes, the news is bad but the rumours are even worse, there making more forbidden planet exclusives!!!! AAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH! Also rumoured is the Seventh Doctor with an exclusive monster from one of his episodes, probably an Imperial Dalek. 🙁
The misery won`t end, and neither will these horrid prices. £14 per action figure? It wouldnt be so bad if the prices werent doubled for the fp exclusives. They are limited edition, so is fair to expect an increased price, but a multiplied price is taking it way too far. What are we going to do?
?
January 24th, 2010 - 6:02pmI got Morbius and I hope to see
CoMPANIONS
McGann is The Doctor.
January 24th, 2010 - 2:32pmTh Morbius monster, who is my favourite monster and villain in the wave, looks miles better than….the other pictures. I was watchinG The Brain Of Morbius yesterday for the second time, because i hear the audio commentary. And it was worrying to think how much the toy seemingly sucked compared to the real thing and it seemed like a terrible wasted opurtunity…..until i saw these pictures!
Morbius looks G-R-E-A-T! And so does the Ice Warrior, Im getting three.

January 24th, 2010 - 2:26pmTwo words; Wow. They look FREAKIN AMAZING in those pictures! Except for the Mummy and Robot which are suck so it doesnt matter. Even better than they appear in the official/company/whatever,you know what i mean photos.
I am the opposite of dissapointed, which is never the case with those four wastes of plastic known as the End Of Time wave which are pathetic and unsatisfying and theres no wilf which is pure insanity.
