It has been of interest to me, and undoubtedly it has often occured to other Whovians, what about Classic Series Wave 3?
    Hmmmmm, let me tink.
Or as The Tenth Doctor would say, think think think think think think think……….

Well, for starters we definately could use a Sharaz Jek, a classic and excellent villain, excellently performed by Christopher Gable(i was watching COA last night for the first time, amazed by Sharaz Jek but annoyed by Peri) Not to mention what an excellent addition it would make to any display cabinet or collection.

And to keep the list going, we definately deserve another classic, which has, as of yet, not been released. Weve had classic Daleks, Cybermen Sea Devils, even an Ice Warrior (well, we will in afew days time :)) BUt no Sontarans!
    I want a classic Sontaran for christmas…..
Commander Linx ought to be a good start. I like the proper Sontarans far more than those silly blue militaristic midgets, who just arent nasty enough. And are of no intimidation as the Sontarans should be, and have been.

Now, to add a bit of colour to the collection, lets have the Doctor numba 3, in either the Green coat as seen in The Time Warrior, or that marvellous purple one in Planet of The Daleks. Some people dont agree with rereleasing Doctors in different costumes, and behave as though its all we are getting as of yet, you know what i say to that? rediculous. Maybe with the Third Doctor we can have a companion, yes, thats exactly what we need. I want Jo Grant as appeared in Planet of The Daleks, which means the Doctor will have to be in purple, dont forget the gloves!

    And before i finish

Now, (dont panic its the final comment on this topic) What do i think of these new figures? When i first saw the pictures i was really surprised, they looked very different from what i had imagined them for as having looked like. The Master, is brown as a chocolate croissant! I thought hed be greenish and more screen accurate, so i was quite let down by it, but that wont deterr me, i still really like it! But the Morbius Monster, tsk tsk tsk. What kind of plastic have thay used?

Just look at the arms, it doesnt look like something Character Options would produce. And speaking of arms, this is horrible! Its an abomination The arms, theyre terribly out of place! They should be more connected to the shoulders. Theyre so……the way they are out of place makes the toy look very unrealistic and just takes the figure itself back by one huge step in the quality meter. Terrible, very terrible. Just look at the picture, surely i speak your minds fellow Whovians? But the glass head dome is very impressive, and the rods, and ofcourse that all important brain, the brain of morbius, marvellous! Splendid job there CO. And i suppose the arms might not seem like such a problem when youve bought the figure and seen it for real and even if they still are then perhaps they are forgiveable.

The claw looks, i think, different from the epsiode but thats no real problem. But i wonder if its poseable. Could it give you a good nip? I sure as heck hope so. The Ice Warrior looks terrific, really splendid. I originally wasnt thinking much about buying an Ice Warrior, until i saw the pictures. THen i saw the pics..now im a believer, im goin to tesco, i couldnt leave it if i tried, and any way im getting three Ice Warriors.

The mummy and the voc robot, lame as wood. I would only buy them if i ran out of coal and needed something to light the fire, what with this annoying weather us Brits are getting. Im really just not fussed on them. The mummy, what to do. Its just a rubbish figure of a less than interesting monster. Pure money waster.

Now, the EarthShock Cyberman, pure Awesomeness. It looks better than the real thing! You can expect my display cabinet to be invaded by the little buggers. But the red bit on the energy blaster/pulse rifle Cybermachine gun? Its ment to be reddish purpilish pinkish pink! But ii barely mind at all. Thank you character Options! This is very much appreciated. But I think you should have and could have (and would have if i was incharge) released two more figures with this six. I know the seventh and beloved Eighth Doctors were due in this wave, and saved for the Eleven Doctors set at the last moment, but really, maybe you didnt have the time but if you did, release a companion or maybe an alternately costumed Doctor from Wave 1. Thats all i have to say for this page. Sorry for the long comments but i have alot to say and i really hope none of the people mind and i hope that them being so lon doesnt discourage you to read them! Because you should!

Yes, its true. This year I will be VERY VERY busy indeed, I might have to sell my house for all of this! How much does it come down to? Afew hundred? But worth every coin. Im a Whovian(as ive mentioned a thousand times already), and this is what a Whovian does with his money. Im also aiming for the Ages Of Steel set in tesco, ill keep my eyes peeled for it, those wonderful Cybermen. If it is released where i live, it wont be on the shelves for long because im planning to own an army of plastic Cybermen! Oh Im SO Excited! By 2011 my wallet will be lighter than a feather.

Get ready fellow Whovians! I, as always, have alot to say and plan to say it all in one comment:
These figures are great and im so excited i can finally have the chance as a late Whovian to buy figures in a shop (with the exception of the tesco packs, i might get the series 3 pack since it is only a tenner and for Jack). I plan to get Three Ice Warriors, about six EarthShock Cybermen just like in the episode (hope they release the Cyberleader, im sure they will, but not an fp exclusive i beg of you). You know what?

I might actually order The Ice Warriors dvd, its a turning point for me as a WHovian, ive never been interested much in the black and white era, but i like Pat Trought and the monsters he faced. And The Ice warriors are quite interesting. Do you realise something? Character Options have just influenced a Whovian into expanding his fandom of the franchise through its action figures! Other wise the Ice Warriors would never have been any interest to me. Thanks Character options!

@DrWhoFan1 By the looks of it, the Mummy and Voc are variants on those in the Adventure Set: i.e. they’re not duplicates. No reason the Destiny Dalek will be re-released, then.
