Celebrate Doctor Who Day This Saturday

Fans to be treated with a watch party of Season 1 episode 3 ‘Boom’ on the Doctor Who YouTube channel at 7pm GMT/11am PT with Steven Moffat to live-tweet the event .

23rd November is the official Doctor Who Day. The annual event marks the anniversary of the show launching in the UK on the BBC and brings together fans of the beloved sci-fi TV-Show from all around the world to celebrate its 60+ year history.

This year, the Doctor Who team put together a host of exclusive and exciting specials to celebrate the event with Whovians. Fans can expect a day full of exclusive content and announcements, giveaways, a brand-new series of New to Who, hosted by Tyrell Charles, and more, all culminating into the 7pm GMT/11am PT live watch party of the epic episode ‘Boom’ from season 1 for the first time on the Doctor Who official channel. The livestream will be commentated on X by Steven Moffat.

Doctor Who is produced by Bad Wolf with BBC Studios. The show will return on Christmas Day on BBC One and iPlayer simultaneously in the UK, and outside of the UK on Disney+ where available, for its special ‘Joy to the World’, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor alongside Nicola Coughlan, as Joy.

    This sounds fun. I really enjoyed BOOM and Steven Moffat is my favourite Doctor Who writer. So I will definitely be taking part

    I shall be celebrating with Katy Manning and John Levene among others from the 3rd Doctor era at ye olde Riverside Studios.
    Should be fun.
