Celebrate Doctor Who Day This Saturday

Fans to be treated with a watch party of Season 1 episode 3 ‘Boom’ on the Doctor Who YouTube channel at 7pm GMT/11am PT with Steven Moffat to live-tweet the event .

23rd November is the official Doctor Who Day. The annual event marks the anniversary of the show launching in the UK on the BBC and brings together fans of the beloved sci-fi TV-Show from all around the world to celebrate its 60+ year history.

This year, the Doctor Who team put together a host of exclusive and exciting specials to celebrate the event with Whovians. Fans can expect a day full of exclusive content and announcements, giveaways, a brand-new series of New to Who, hosted by Tyrell Charles, and more, all culminating into the 7pm GMT/11am PT live watch party of the epic episode ‘Boom’ from season 1 for the first time on the Doctor Who official channel. The livestream will be commentated on X by Steven Moffat.

Doctor Who is produced by Bad Wolf with BBC Studios. The show will return on Christmas Day on BBC One and iPlayer simultaneously in the UK, and outside of the UK on Disney+ where available, for its special ‘Joy to the World’, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor alongside Nicola Coughlan, as Joy.

My Doctor Who Day watching always started at 9am with one story from each of the Doctors so my choice was.

    The Dalek Invasion Of Earth
    The War Games
    Inferno
    City Of Death
    The Caves Of Androzani
    Revelation Of The Daleks
    Remembrance Of The Daleks
    The Movie
    The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances
    Blink
    The Day Of The Doctor
World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls
    The Power Of The Doctor
    The Giggle
    Boom

Probably might take me the whole weekend.

Why do I always receive such announcements after the event is over? It’s 10am where I am, and episode 3 will play in an hour. I’ve already missed 7hrs of content.

The War Games colourisation just announced.

Looks quite good. Would benefit more so than the Daleks from last year I’d say, 10 parts a bit too much, even for me. New effects aswell including an updated regeneration. Releasing December 23rd

    I am very jealous.

Please give the delightful Miss Manning my best wishes.

She should have a monthly column in ‘Doctor Who” magazine.

Season one episode 3 was the Unquiet Dead. There wasn’t an episode called Boom, we had Boom Town.

Nick, Boom is from this year’s Season One Ncuti Gatwa, I know it’s confusing it should have been series 14 but the show was rebooted again this year as Season One.

Especially when we finally get season one ? (Classic) on limited edition it will then be more confusing with that and series 14 lol

This sounds fun. I really enjoyed BOOM and Steven Moffat is my favourite Doctor Who writer. So I will definitely be taking part
