Sporting a tweed jacket and cool bow tie, the Eleventh Doctor and his companions Amy Pond and her husband Rory Pond, travel through time and space aboard the TARDIS. Sometimes dangerous, often life-threatening, but always exciting, the adventures of the Doctor and his companions are celebrated with the release of the Limited Edition 1:6 Scale Collector Series Figures from BIG Chief Studios Ltd.

Its very difficult to take pictures which do justice to the figure but the likeness is superb, it could almost be Matt Smith stood there!…

August 26th, 2012 - 10:26amMy signature edition arrived pretty smacked up unfortunately (the post even managed to scratch the signature plate!) It’s a shame these weren’t sent by international courier (or if we could have had that option) since those services tend to be more ‘gentle’.
Major dissapointment after waiting so long for this. I don’t have a decent digital camera atm either so can’t get good snaps for insurance purposes.
*Sigh* I hope Big Chief offer some better postage options for future releases.

August 31st, 2012 - 6:23pmYes it’s very detailed. I think BC had quite a few hiccups with this release and sending out orders, but I think they will only get better as they go along.

I hope to get this and the very good extension pack that is coming out. It will have the Doctor’s Longcoat, his blue shirt, suspenders and bowtie.

I haven’t received mine yet either, but I don’t live in the UK, so postage takes awhile.

My regular edition arrived today from FP and it did not come with that sonic…I thought they were throwing that in as an extra for being late…or was that only if you order direct from BC?

August 17th, 2012 - 4:51pmIt’s just the promo pictures show him without the jacket as an alternative costume as was shown in The Doctor’s Wife as well as the jacket wearing version.
Plus with the swapable items in future makes it seem a bit odd that it would be made very difficult to remove items.

August 20th, 2012 - 7:43pmThe expansion packs are going to be released alongside versions of the figure that come just as the body and head meaning you don’t have to remove the clothes yourself you can just buy a ‘naked’ version.

August 17th, 2012 - 12:27pmthe ones being delivered now are the signature edition flown in especially to cover pre orders via big chief only – the main stock is coming by boat which takes 4-6 weeks i think so dont expect these “on the shelf” for a few weeks yet
The delay was caused by big chief having to change production companies
