trains

Competition set up for 4pm today and another one tomorrow

The War Doctor Figure didn’t last long again, sold out

Titan fans need to look at these These

If only! Yeti fans click Here

Added a train to the site today…

Seems like people are really liking the Harrop Cyberman Edge Sculpt

10th February 2015

Someone needs to buy this

Good News!

Some thinkgeek items previously only available in the USA are now available to order from Forbidden Planet including Tardis Toothbrush Holder , TARDIS Shower Curtain and TARDIS Tea Infuser

Today I almost filled up the merchandise home page with new items!

Infact I could have done, and more, some stuff still to do.

Particularly liking 2 brand new 3.75″ figures and a better Cyberman.

Now where is news of those stands?

Its a pity we can’t see the final products from half moon bay at this stage, some potentially nice items in there.

Jigsaws, tins, Dalek Bowl stackable mugs for me.

Titan Vinyl’s are taking over

titan-doctor-who-figures-so-far

They are breading like tribbles, more shelf space needed. Luke is only about 25% into the collectors list as well 😯

I should have started this yesterday – then I could have said how brilliant it is to see Big Finish UNIT The New Series

I would like more time zones like
console room with red and blues lights and 11th Dr and Clara.
In rusty with Ross, journey blue and grechin with green goo

I doubt that they would release such minor characters such as Ross, Gretchen or Journey Blue as action figures when there are much more important characters such as Missy and Danny that haven’t even been released yet.

Must say the guy who has photo’d the titans in that link has done a superb job…he’s turned relatively cheap items into something which look a lot more stylish and expensive…. the people at titan should consider getting him to do their advertising…

      February 13th, 2015 - 9:01pm

Very kind words indeed. I’d happily accept payment in figures if Titans used my photos πŸ™‚

      @ vespiformSting

I personally would not consider them cheap as they seem quite dear for what they are, but well said all the same

I see Art Asylum seem to have put themelves out of the running for Doctor Who merchandise if you look at their latest question and answer session. Shame their star trek stuff is rather good…..as, for the most part, are the classic TV Batman busts….

Rooners, your Titan photography is superb, stunning in fact. Really like the way you have captured different scenes from the show. Is there any particular camera/ software you use?

    • Rooners

      February 13th, 2015 - 8:51pm

Thank you – very kind. I use a Canon PowerShot SX510 HS which a nice reasonably priced camera. I use iPiccy (web based package) to clean up and fine tune the photos and LenFX if I want to add a specific effect such as smoke or a lens flare. Glad you like the photos πŸ™‚

    • The Docs Gone Mad

      February 15th, 2015 - 11:01am

Rooners: Trying to look up your photography software ‘LenFX’, cant seem to find it, would it come under something else?

    • Anonymous

      February 15th, 2015 - 12:11pm

I forgot to mention its an app, not web based like iPiccy, so you would need to search for it on a smart device app store. Another good one which is a package you can download onto PCs/Laptops is GIMP. Its like a lite version of Photoshop….but free.

  • VespiformsSting

    February 11th, 2015 - 8:14pm

As for the Harrops cyberman…well Im eagerly awaiting certain classic cybermen…Its a superb piece of art though….. Takes Doctor Who collecting to a new level.

  • VespiformsSting

    February 11th, 2015 - 8:12pm

Creatorthon started out selling his yeti at 60 quid a time…they always went for a lot more though..Ive bid on three in the past and lost out each time….No wonder he can sell such excellent models for such a high price though when they are the most hopelessly neglected of the classic monsters…..

The shower curtain and toothbrush holder are very nice but the price is hefty coming as it does right as Harrops are hopefully going to be releasing their figures….

The Weimaraner at the top yours BooBoo? …Has he/she got a Who related name πŸ˜€

    • booboo

      February 10th, 2015 - 11:07pm

      February 10th, 2015 - 11:15pm

Wow, 12! That’s a good age for a dog. Our pet, Buster, lived until 10. Sadly he had to be put down last year.. but he did well to last 10 years!

Is the dogs name booboo by any chance? Is that why your username is that? Or do you just like Yogi the Bear? xD

    • booboo

      February 10th, 2015 - 11:18pm

no my dog before him was called booboo, although that did come from yogi bear

      his name is Biggles

    • Sam Richard Bentley

      February 11th, 2015 - 12:16am

Ahh – so I was kind of on the lines of where your username comes from! So close! Biggles is a fun name. When I was very little, we had a dog called Chadwick. Always liked that name, suits dogs well.

      February 11th, 2015 - 1:46am

I once owned a dog – a border collie – who’d appeared in an episode of a series called Bullman which starred Gavrok, leader of the Bannermen, Don Henderson…..It was Don Henderson who named him ….saw his white feet at the end of black legs and called him Spats….. 16 years he lived like our Border collie before him…. Id like a bassett hound but dogs require a lot of time and effort and money sadly…..
