July 29th, 2020 - 11:49amJust been to two b & m stores. Queensferry, deeside. Plenty of stock. At least 4-6 of each including the war doctor + dalek and 8th doctor + dalek sets for Big Finish. I don’t think anyone had made a dent on the shelves until I turned up. Then in passing I looked in at Chester Retail Park (greyhound park). Ok, only 2 or 3 sets of everything and one tardis.

July 29th, 2020 - 11:18amDoes the B&M app work on android or only with iphone? For days now I get message saying ‘Opps cannot check stock’ on app on my android. I know there is stock of 2 or 3 sets locally just not the ones I am looking for.
Would be very much appreciated if anyone who can check the app and see if Redruth or Penzance stores have the Dalek sets or Tardis yet? Many Thanks

July 29th, 2020 - 12:36amWirral Rock retail park had all sets this afternoon. Ellesmere Port had everything except the Dalek sets (I picked up the last one). Couldn’t see any of the new sets in Bromborough even though the app originally showed good stock then limited stock. I hope this helps someone. I’ve got all of the sets that I wanted but I will keep an eye out and update if I see anything else.

July 28th, 2020 - 11:20pmConnswater store in East Belfast finally got the sets on the shelves after days of showing in stock on the app. Lots of each of the six new sets – especially the 2nd Doctor and TARDIS – as well as some of last year’s sets still around.

The app only shows an ‘Oops’ for the whole of Sheffield. Very frustrating. Still, it’s a reason to go for a walk.

July 28th, 2020 - 7:54pmFYI, looking round South London, the stores at Old Kent Road and Orpington have nothing at all. The store at Ravensbourne Retail Park just has about five of the Seventh Doctor and Dalek pack.

They want to share, talk about and take part in what is at the moment a solid core community and it can be really frustrating if they cant get hold of the things, i get it i really do and these sets would be totally non viable without that community.

(Plus- that fear of missing out never really goes away if you’ve missed something before. We all know some items hang around, but there are some that disappear quickly and if you don’t have the time or transport to repeatedly visit several branches, or if they aren’t local enough to you in the first place, or the ones that are are less reliable for stock, or you can’t budget to ensure the money for them is still available untouched in several weeks- it’s still much, much easier to miss out on something than it seems. Your home/geography can entirely decide your luck with these. You might not miss the whole set, but maybe the items you wanted most. Logic says be patient, but patience hasn’t always brought me success. I’ve been burned and never able to afford the things I missed from the secondary market, so I’m never without anxiety until I have the wave for sure, now.)

No sign of Daleks or Tardis sets. No Yaz either. 🙁
I caved in and bought a 2/Tardis set on eBay.

Thats why some of these people strip those shelves to start with because there is always an opportunity to be had. they know some people just can,t wait but there are loads of B and M stores up and down the country that haven,t yet recieved or are waiting for confirmation to put them on shelves.

They had several Tardis’ and the 3 packs but only one of the History of the Daleks #2 sets left and none of the History of the Daleks #1

July 28th, 2020 - 2:05pmJust checked Oxford Road store, Reading. No new sets. I asked the staff member who I have spoken to before about toys and she said the new sets are now not due until September.
Is this right? I have seen something on here that said this is the test release and then the all the sets will be available later (August/September).
