Nothing at Chesterfield at circa 7:00 PM other than about five 13th sets from the last wave pushed to the front of the shelf.

On the plus side, this means that the very little shelf space that B&M Chesterfield seem prepared to give these sets are nigh – on clear for the current wave.

Good to get the barcodes, but they are either not recognised, or they don’t know if the stores have them. ☹️

Any updates from the Bexhill Posse? Also, are there any online sellers that are selling at a reasonable mark up. I had heard Amazon can be good sometimes but not seen anything yet.

Eston Grange store near Middlesbrough had plenty of all sets, except the Sarah Jane/Romana sets, as of half an hour ago. None of them to be found, so maybe not out yet. Shelf is pretty well rammed with the other sets though! Must say, the Fourth Doctor figure looks very good indeed!

Only checked B&M in the Gorbals, Glasgow and it had Troughton Tardis set and plenty of the previous 3 packs, but nothing new. No obvious room on the shelves for more sets to be honest.

Checked a few stores in Scotland today. Bathgate only had some of the 3 figure sets (can’t remember which) and some of last years at a reduced price.
Livingston store inside the Almondvale centre only had the new Tardis sets, had about 6-8.
Linlithgow, Grangemouth and Stenhousemuir all had nothing new as of yet.

Honestly can’t get excited about these figures. Most are re-releases of figures we have had recently, with only different costumes and/or paint apps. The only figure of any interest to me is the Fourth Doctor variation from ‘Terror of the Zygons’, and I may as well just buy that on eBay. Only the Character Options online exclusive ‘Movie’ Daleks as featured in ‘The Chase’ set, are the only figures to really impress me.

Its been the same every year for the second tweaked wave, only this time the repaints and additions are far more substantial and better than ever before, why do you expect it to be any different now.

Also people need to get a grip on the fact than B&M will be making substantial margins on these sets, unlike the recent exclusive sets where all profits go to CO.

      There is a Massive difference.

You have to remember that last year we just got some slight paint variants on the daleks and a change to the 7th doctor’s head, plus a new TARDIS set.

2 years ago we got a belt removed from Clara, some paint updates and a new TARDIS.

These are “interim” sets between releases, they aren’t meant to be new figures. I think a lot of people got their hopes up because they were leaked, but we always get slight variants at this point in the cycle. This year I’d say they’ve gone above and beyond by swapping some figures in and changing the existing ones pretty substantially.

Zygons set and 3rd/4th companions in stock at Chippenham Bumpers Farm, but nothing else (and no space for them either). Nothing at the Hathaway Retail Park yet but a fair amount of the last wave of 3 packs, so guessing they’ll clear all that first.

Thanks mate. Just been to Meadowhall to pick most of them. they didn,t have the 13th doctors companions set. The bloke who reserved that set got it confused with the last friends and foes set. Anyway i went down one of the aisles and in my madness swapping for a better chase set, somehow managed to pick two terror sets.and the best part is i had both chase and masterplan in my hands. Thats what you get when you start rushing around and scrambling for things. I,m going to take that set back and call to stairfoot if you say they are in stock and get what i want.

      October 2nd, 2020 - 5:43pm

Yes, just come back from Stairfoot. They had them all.
Funnily enough, only one I didn’t get was the Thirteenth companions set. (Didn’t have enough money.) probably get it next payday.

Just got back from Stairfoot, Barnsley. They had a fair few thirteenth sets, only 1 TARDIS and I managed to get the last chase set. Those dalek sets are selling well. It was the same in Sheffield meadowhall retail park. They had an abundance of Terror/Tom sets. Thanks again for giving us the heads up.

Hi, just went to two B&M stores at Belgrave Gate and at the one at Haymarket Shopping Centre. The one at Belgrave Gate didn’t have any (as far as I’m aware) and the one at Haymarket had a shelf full of the previous waves. They had the Claws of Axos set, The Friends and Foe of the 13th Doctor sets and the 2nd Doctor and TARDIS sets. Unfortunately, no new sets though. Hope this helps.
