By some miracle, Burton Upon Trent today had roughly 10 Tardis sets (including the one I bought) and a large stock of both earthshock and five doctors.

Loughborough had several five doctors sets and both Swadlincote and Ashby gateway had nothing.

This seems to be a huge distribution balls up as all stores were over stocked with bobble head daleks and the large cartoon style figures of the 10th & 11th doctors but it’s a nightmare getting hold of the 5inch figures with most stores saying they only received one box of figures if any.

Big chief stuff (bobbles and dynamix style) are nothing to do with the Character items and are much slower in shifting and by the looks of it ordered in bigger quantities.

The (big chief items) have also had no PR whatsoever that i can see.

I have said on several occasions the Daleks and Tardis sets seem under produced whilst the 3 figure sets of late are over produced.

Guys its just a waiting game. During the last wave I waited a long time too but ended up getting all the sets in store by the end. No point giving up if they’re just gonna appear later on.

Chesterfield still not had anything from this wave of figures. Chesterfield never had the last wave either. The same applies to the other Derbyshire stores (Alfreton and Bolsover). No idea why we have been ignored.

Chesterfield have been erratic/unreliable since at least the second wave last year. Understandable to an extent given the circumstances at the time, but IIRC they got in a of Zygons sets – and ONLY Zygons sets – late 2020/early this year, so maybe management got huffy they didn’t sell like gangbusters and decided not to stock them at ALL this year. I last looked for them in store last Wednesday (22nd) and the shelves in the toy section looked woefully understocked in general. Still, thanks for updating re: the Bolsover and Alfreton stores. They don’t seem to have hit the Belper shop either, which was pretty well supplied last year.

Went to Bolton again on Thursday, they had First Doctor & TARDIS sets, as well as loads of Earthshock sets, and loads of reduced Sensorites & Marinus sets. No more Five Doctors. And still no Daleks sets at all. They did have both bobble Dalek thing-a-ma-jigs though, and that Eleventh Doctor thing-a-ma-bob.
I got a TARDIS set and an extra Sensorites set, will sell the extra Doctor in a bundle, and make the Sensorite leader into a second in command.

Foss Islands York did not have any of the new sets at 19:00 this evening.

Both the Sensorites and Marinus sets that I saw for £9 the other night have all gone.

All they had was both Dynamix figures and Dalek bobbleheads

Your best bet is to just wait it out. If they haven’t arrived yet, they will arrive eventually. No need to buy them off ebay, just have to be patient.
