The Hyson Green branch in Nottingham has loads of Sensorites/Marinus sets, 2 of the Daleks #6 set, 3 or 4 of The Five Doctors set and loads of the Bobble head Daleks sets. On Saturday, they had 5 of the TARDIS sets, they have now all gone.

None of the Dynamix figures though. They also had several of the 5th Doctor sets.
I’ve now got all the ones that I wanted and am glad I have managed before the scalpers beat me to it.

Really hope all of those who wanted the sets managed to get them without resorting to eBay

Aaaand in a development guaranteed to surprise no – one in the area Chesterfield continues to have no DW product in store as of 2 PM today. Nowt. Not a sausage. Not even these Dynamix figurines that seem to be everywhere else. Is the management at Chesterfield Whophobic or something?

It’s not even as if they don’t have the shelf space. The toy section is looking distinctly understocked, and not in a “clearing space for new items before Christmas” kind of way.

It makes me feel somewhat better about pulling the trigger on one of the cheaper 5 Doctors sets on eBay over the weekend, but I reckon that along with the Sensorites set, that’ll be it for me this year, and possibly for good. I simply can’t justify paying almost double the RRP for repaint/reissue figures for no better reason than B&M’s infuriating and iniquitous postcode lottery approach to rolling out these waves. It must be nice to live near one or more B&Ms that stock this range regularly and reliably. I wouldn’t know. I’ve lived in two different locations in the last few years, and the nearest B&M in both has been utterly rubbish at getting these figures in. At least the staff were nicer in the other store.

Yes I agree with you. Chesterfield didn’t get any of the last wave and its looking like nothing will come for this latest batch. I pop in every 2 or 3 days and ask the staff but they don’t think they will be getting any. I only live up the road too !!! So frustrating.
