Big Finish – Master! Nemesis Express

A Big Finish Master! Piece!

The movie Master is back for more carnage as he once again encounters the Chronovores in a brand-new box set, due for release in October 2022 by Big Finish Productions.

Eric Roberts returns as the diabolical Time Lord in three full-cast audio dramas. Star Trek’s Chase Masterson also reprises the role of Vienna Salvatori — marking 10 years of the glamorous bounty hunter.

Joining the glittering cast is Teri Ann Bobb-Baxter (War of the Worlds, Bridgerton) as Passion, an alien thief with special abilities joining forces with Vienna. But the Master is always one step ahead…

Master! — Nemesis Express is now available to pre-order as a collector’s edition 3-disc CD box set (+ download for just £19.99) or download only (for just £16.99), exclusively from www.bigfinish.com.

Step aboard the Kairos, a recreational cruiser which traverses the Time Vortex itself.

Vienna Salvatori is on a mission, and must make her way up the serpentine vehicle, from the crime-ridden rear segments, through the enclosed compartments of the mega-rich, all the way to front of the ship to face the man who controls it all… the Master!!

The three suspenseful adventures are as follows:

  • Nemesis Express by Robert Whitelock
  • Capture the Chronovore! By Lizbeth Myles
  • Passion By Robert Valentine

Producer David Richardson said: “I think, from the very first box set, we understood what this series should be about. At its core, this is the story of the Eric Roberts Master clawing his way back into our universe, with each box set taking place in clearly defined story worlds with a supporting ensemble of well-realised characters. It gives us a sense of being on a journey with this Master – and it’s a journey that Vienna Salvatori is keen to end…”

Director and Executive Producer Jason Haigh-Ellery, added: “I always have a great time working with Eric [Roberts]. He’s such a lovely bloke – but also the consummate professional and he always brings another option to a scene. Often, he has seen something on the page which others haven’t and this leads to one of the most unique interpretations of the Master.”

Praise for Master!:

“Master! is one of the strongest releases of the year so far and, as such, certainly comes recommended.” — Who Review

“Hearing Eric Roberts back in action against such a vividly realised backdrop makes this an absorbing release from Big Finish.”
— The Digital Fix

“[Eric] Roberts is a true professional. When so much around him seems laboured, he makes his performance as the Master sound effortless.” — We Are Cult

Master! — Nemesis Express is now available to pre-order for just £19.99 (CD box set + download) or £16.99 (download only), exclusively from the Big Finish website.

Big Finish listeners can save money by purchasing the first and second Master! box sets together in a bundle for just £39 (CD box set + download) or £34 (download only).

All the above prices include the special pre-order discount and are subject to change after general release

Big Finish is currently operating a digital-first release schedule. The mail-out of collector’s edition CDs may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, but all purchases of this release unlock a digital copy that can be immediately downloaded or played on the Big Finish app from the release date.
