The Remembrance of the Daleks Collectors Set! Forbidden Planet Exclusive!

The TARDIS arrives in London in 1963, where the Doctor and Ace discover that two rival factions of Daleks – one loyal to the Dalek Emperor and one to the Dalek Supreme – are seeking the Hand of Omega, a powerful Time Lord device that the first Doctor hid there during an earlier sojourn on Earth.

The great set includes four figures – Special Weapons Dalek, White Imperial Dalek, Renegade Dalek and Supreme Dalek.

-they said that one lethal use for such tools is that a 100 watt, or 100 something, focused beam of some random random laser (they only use the tiniest, most narrow stretch of laser beam for this) can, what was it? Shatter the surface of something, and contact to physical objects or whatever, causes something explosive between them, multiple explosive impact from it. Oh I remember now; the equivalent force to 100 grams of explosive powder, eh I dunno. πŸ˜•

I wasactually thinking of the SW Dalek last nnite as I read my copy of “the Science of Dr Who” (which I got for krismis last year, didnt even ask for it but damn, some of the stuff in there I read, Im better off for having learned thiese things!) they were talkin about using energy weapons, heat, sound, light. And apparently they are great for the purpose of maiming, one could subdue an enemy vehicle by blocking the windscreen with an opaque greenness (I dont know how they do that, they just cover the front windshield in a big green screen)…

its a tank with twice the power of an ordinary dalek. they would never release all the flight controlled tardises in one set so no

Its true that people have had horrendous problems with their Dalek figures, particularly the Classic set. Last October I was deathly worried my DCS would be stiff and totally unmovable, Megashorts and (I think) Batman March had done reviews and all saying that nomatter what, it WAS NOT going to move. TRAGIC. This is the paint setting or the glue being hardened and so it stays wedged in palce πŸ˜₯ , but a solution I heard is to gently apply (not too much, just a drop and a swab) of BOILING HOT water. Lubricate round and into the joints.

looks incredibly acurate. I’ve seen and touched
the screen used prop for the supreme dalek. It
looked amazing even though is was over twenty years old.

go and make a Dalek figure which doesnt have A MOVING ARM-GUN?

Actually on some of the daleks they made of the daleks in journeys end and the stolen earth quite a few of the daleks guns didn’t move on some peoples. On my supreme dalek it dosn’t move. On megasorts it dosn’t move (I know because I watched the review.). Anyone else have one of the daleks made around that time that didn’t have a moving gun? Or a sucker arm perhaps?
