Action Figure Set: Image Of The Fendahl – Pictures

Action Figure Collectors Set: Image Of The Fendahl

An anachronistic twelve-million-year-old human skull has been discovered by archaeologists and is now being used by Professor Fendelman in his time scanner experiments at Fetch Priory in contemporary England. The skull is actually an artifact of the Fendahl, an ancient creature that feeds on the life force of others.

Drawn by the operation of the scanner, the Fourth Doctor and Leela arrive as the experiments reach a peak. The skull is exerting an influence over the mind of Thea Ransome, one of the scientists in Fendelman’s team, and glowing with power each time the scanner is activated. Thea is eventually transformed into the Fendahl core, and a group of acolytes assembled by Maximillian Stael – another of Fendelman’s team, who is trying to harness the creature’s power for his own ends – are converted into snake-like Fendahleen.

The Doctor shows the remaining scientist, Adam Colby, and two locals, Martha Tyler and her son Jack, how to defend themselves against the Fendahleen using rock salt. By activating the scanner once more, he triggers an implosion that destroys both the Priory and the Fendahl core.

There is no Seeds of Doom set, as far as we know.

Yes there has actually ! I saw them today, sahme the Doctor figure is (apparently) the EXACT same as the Eleven Doctors set. πŸ™

I found out about the set, it’s available in australia and the U.S.A before we even so much as knew about it ! ❗

Will get the set if the Doctor has a better paintjob on his jacket (darker grey this time CO ! Will be more screen accurate πŸ˜† ) !

Time to adjust my 11th doctor figures shelves. I had left some space for more figures but apparently it’s all finished. Really really disappointing Series 6 range, honestly. Last release, with no tweaked versions, was probably 2 months ago.I don’t know what to think, Series 6 has (had?) such a huge potential, talking about figures, and look at what we’ve got! Thank god there’s the classic range, which has been fantastic before and after Xmas. However I’d like to know why they stopped making Series 6 figures, what went wrong? Were the sales bad?

I agree with you there, sir ❗
The sales weren’t bad, but certainly, they may have been not enough for character Options. Uncle, Doctor in straight jacket, Doctor in cowboy hat are shelf warmers, these earliest figures (some of the least popular too !) are not selling good.
So far I have got the Doctor in straightjacket, Cybermatts reduced to 7.59, the first Silence figure, and Amelia pond (which is from Series 5 anyhow). I hate the ood , uncle and so called Cowboy hat Doctor, these figures are all inaccurate and cheap (apart from Uncle)

Custom CT Doctor : Quite good, altough the hair is wild on the left instead of the right, the Jakcet isn’t dark enough, the Sonic should be closed, maybe CO will make this figure, and it will be THE REAL DEAL. πŸ˜€

Yes they hsould make this figure, there are already plans for a Longcoat/Overcaot Doctor in the Character Building and Big Chief lines, still no news for another 5″ Wave of Series 6 figures πŸ™ Wierd ?

      January 13th, 2012 - 9:38am

If they make a set from that story, we’ll have to get a Doctor figure with it, and it would have to probably be jacketless ! So it’s not the same as the 11 Doctors set. πŸ™‚

Or they’ll just give us the same figure again, it wouldn’t be the first time and it won’t be the last.

Well, you really will have to try it and decide for yrself.

The fun thing t odo is, get jsut one set, one fun set, don’t collect them.
Collecting can sometimes take the fun out of buying a set worth alot of money.

Are you a collector ? You don’t have to buy all the sets to be a collector, jsut buy the ones you want. πŸ˜‰
