I’ve never understood the point of 16 month calendars. A year has 12 months in it, not 16. So why make 16 month calendars? What’s wrong with buying a 12 month calendar for that year, then buying a new calendar for the following year for use when that year is over?

What’s the problem? Your still getting a 12-month calendar with 4 months free. ACCO is an American brand, so an extra 4 images is a bonus as far as I’m concerned.

It’s to promote sales prior to December by giving people a reason for buying in Summer or earlier. Plus you get more pictures.

Looks nice enough, but I’m still upset that they don’t include Eccleston on these things anymore.

Might be a licensing thing. Billie Piper’s image fell off the books awhile ago, for example.

I think Billie now does merchandise, but it is on a case-by-case license. Hence the Titan Vinyl figures & the new Big Chief.

Eccleston is on this. It’s a Classic Doctor’s Calendar featuring 1 through to 12.

I’m in two minds about this? I’ve got it on my wishlist but really need to see some more images before I decide. I much prefer the Mini Calendar cover but want it on the larger version.

its so for example you have an important date given to you in April 2017 for march 2018 you can mark it down ready to transfer to the new calendar you may get later on in the year

makes perfect sense really and they have been to this for years on these calendars

I remember going to NYC and finding and buying a 16 month calendar, it must be an American thing

The main thing that’s really annoyed me with this is that THEY HAVE FLIPPED DAVID’S FACE….

They should know by now that David doesn’t look like David when he is flipped.

I know, they can’t get that wrong, seriously! They need to check it. Are they trying to make him look less attractive or something?

The artwork (on the front cover at least) looks like a rush job, if the individual month images are of the same design quality might give this a miss.

Got a few months yet to think about it anyway 🙂

Agreed! A horrible photoshop pastiche. At least like you say, we have a few months before it is available. So hopefully this isn’t the final image?
