A mid-summer arrival of two new Doctor Who sets at B&M

For fans of the Doctor’s most feared foes there is the History of the Daleks #21Collector Figure set, while the second offering is The Fifteenth Doctor’s TARDIS. Each pack features a comprehensive description, together with the inspiration behind them. See below for more details of each.

Doctor Who 15th Doctor Electronic Tardis Product Code 426900 Price £19.99

Fifteenth Doctor’s TARDIS (08390)

Another superb, limited-edition collector’s piece, this 5.5” scale Electronic TARDIS model comes complete with light and sound FX and new TARDIS interior.

Just like the Doctor, the TARDIS tends to stand out a bit. In past incarnations the exterior could change to blend in with its surroundings, but this handy facility was lost years ago when its Chameleon Circuit developed a fault. Since then, the TARDIS has retained the outer appearance of a traditional police call box. However, the interior was somewhat upgraded to meet the needs of The Fourteenth Doctor with a striking new console room; this was later inherited by The Fifteenth Doctor. As a salute to the TARDIS’ evolved design, this collector’s model comes with swappable interior cards.

To commemorate the set the packaging come complete with gold limited-edition seal and interior packaging inserts to set the scene.

These new sets are available now from local B&M Stores. The retail price will be determined by the store.
Ends.

As another question I have, does anyone know the dimensions of the interior card? I want to make a custom interior for my TARDIS, but I can’t find out the dimensions of them…

Not sure if I am being stupid or not. Are you able to swap out the cardboard inserts or is the Jodie’s one specifically for her tardis release??

I would also love to see that aswell Shaw, Philip.
      But it’s highly unlikely.
Mainly because with the Daleks CO have already tooled most of the Daleks you would like to see. And are therefore all just Re-Release with just a Tweak here and there.
Many of the Cybermen have never been Tooled, especially the Nu Who Cyberman and would require Thousands of pounds per Figure in Tooling.
So highly unlikely for a budget line

I’d be more than happy for re-issues of the classic cybermen from The Tenth planet up to Silver Nemesis. The 60’s cybermen are iconic. I think only the Wheel in Space version has not be previously released.

I love the Revenge design so much they feel very one off and unique the story is a bit laughable it’s fun to watch and Harry Sarah and the 4th Doctor were some of the best pairings

    • Anthony Fagn

      August 19th, 2025 - 8:19am

No it’s not sadly. Besides surely they would start with The Tenth Planet?

It’s a shame that they didn’t put another15th Dr with new paint job with this set .I know it would increase the price between £5 and £10 but would have a much more appealing product .

The props had carefully sculpted indentations, not badly painted black lines. It’s like a custom made by someone who’s not allowed sharp objects, only a Sharpie.

    • Spacewarp

      August 15th, 2025 - 11:23am

I can see why they did it, as re-tooling the posts just for this model would be prohibitively expensive, esp. since they would only use them for this one release. Instead just use their existing “classic” mold.

    • PJ

      August 15th, 2025 - 4:45pm

      What’s the black line for?

    • Rex F

      August 16th, 2025 - 9:06pm

PJ: It’s meant to represent the indentations on the posts of the Chibnall onwards police box. As Spacewarp says, they can’t afford to modify the mold so they’ve attempted something else (to questionable results).

I printed a “Jodie” interior from the web and used that for my original 13th. I doubt that I’ll buy one to keep, but I shall certainly pick a few you pass onto those who can’t find them in their local stores…when they eventually appear in my local stores!

Don’t know what’s going on with the quality control on these but I’ve had to return 2 to my store where I work. The first one had a massive cut going down the right hand door and second one had one of the police public call box stickers missing off one of the sides. If I was you I would check the one you have bought. You can easy open the box from the bottom.

David, I managed to get the last Tardis they had at Skelton store, near Redcar, so they are about. Middlesbrough and Redcar should hopefully have them in soon. Don’t forget the Eston Grange and Coulby Newham stores, if you can get there. Managed to get the Dalek set at Coulby Newham store this morning.

with the 14th and 15th doctor TARDIS un a row, there is only the 8th and war doctor to release to be complete.
Maybe the 15th will also be for the 16th/Rose Doctor ‍♂️

A TV Movie TARDIS would be a dream come true. There are probably rights issues but I’m sure there’s some legal loophole, have it tie in with a Big Finish audio or DWM comic or something. I’d be fine if it was just a repainted 80’s TARDIS, I don’t think a new lamp would be completely out of the question though.

Failing that, I would accept the Time War TARDIS as a substitute but ideally I’d like both.

    • Junior53

      August 11th, 2025 - 10:03pm

I understand the rights issues but, they did release à 8th doctor from the movie, so a TARDIS should be very possible isn’t it ?

There is a lot of 9th/10th doctor’s TARDIS custom as the war TARDIS that is very good making, i’ve been wondering à lot of if i’d buy one or not.
After all, they did release the fugitive TARDIS so why not the one from John Hurt

    • Spacewarp

      August 11th, 2025 - 11:49pm

I think a War Doctor TARDIS would be very difficult to do. It may be just a 10th Doctor TARDIS with a Fresnel lamp, but the iconic “blast” marks on the front are very distinctive, and would be pretty much impossible to get right by hand.

The TVM TARDIS was a slightly different design, but since CO only have 2 molds – New Series and Classic, they would probably use the classic mold, in which case it would be pretty much identical to the recent 6th Doctor one. In fact a lot of folks have commented that that’s what they use it for.
