Jon Culshaw reads this exciting novelisation of a classic TV adventure for the Third Doctor and UNIT.

Outside the bounds of this world lives Kronos, the Chronivore – a mysterious creatures that feeds on time itself.

Posing as a Cambridge professor the Master intends to use Kronos in his evil quest for power. To stop him, the Doctor and Jo must journey back in time to Ancient Atlantis and to a terrifying confrontation within the Time Vortex itself.

    I like this one . Its bonkers and fun. We needed something fluffy after the dark, dour The Mutants.

    Nice to have all the classic Pertwee Targets out now. Going to do a marathon and go through them from start to end.

    I’m quite fond of the story myself and looking forward to the audio – Culshaw is a fine reader and I like a story with extensive TARDIS interior scenes.

    I suppose it might allow you to imagine the God-like powerful being that is Kronos in all his glory & not a guy in a white onesie squawking about in a laboratory!!!

      It’s much better to read, you don’t have the naff visuals and you don’t get the dreadful Shakespearean acting of a certain atlantean…
