They are down the toy aisle near the tills and next to the Marinus sets.

October 22nd, 2021 - 2:33pmI’ve just had an email from Big Chief saying that these will be in stock soon (despite them telling me 2 weeks ago that they would be sent out ‘in the next few days’) AND charging me another £6 for 2nd class postage that actually costs £4.20. These sets are £14.99 in B&M and an amazing £25.99 from BC – and extra £11. I didn’t mind paying an extra £5 (£19.99) to pre-order them as at the time BC didn’t mention a charge for shipping (I believed it was included), so that was fair enough. In future I won’t be taking advantage of any of their ‘Special’ offers.
By the way there is also a £5 cancellation fee! What a rip off!

October 16th, 2021 - 7:41pmOrdered mine from ebay for just under 25 quid including p&p I could easily spend 10 pounds in public transport costs and still not find them at a local shop so I reckon and extra 2.50 per dalek isnt bad, if theyre any good of course !

October 16th, 2021 - 3:30pmA few of these in the Keighley shop. Picked one of them up while I was there, and must admit that I quite like them! Good quality and quite weighty. They seem to be made of resin, rather than plastic, and all four of them are currently sat on top of my fridge, having a little wobble at me whenever I walk across the kitchen or open the fridge door to get a beer!

October 11th, 2021 - 1:36pmI have emailed Big Chief about these (I also pre-ordered them in June), and they say that these were actually ordered by, and made for, B&M. The pre-order was a guarantee for BC’s customers to get the sets in case their local B&M sold out or didn’t get any stock in at all. Apparently BC should get their 200 sets in the next few days and they will be sent out straight way. It is a bit frustrating, but I wish Character Options would do the same thing with 5″ sets. At least real collectors would get the chance to pre-order them and not have to rely on eBay scalpers because the distribution is so hit & miss..

October 11th, 2021 - 2:02pmIf people could order online from Character in the quantities needed to satisfy real collectors then the sets would never work for B&M so they would never exist anyway.
200 of each B&M sets on the Character site would be gone in half an hour or less and probably to just as many “scalpers”

I do have a question. Does the B and M situation apply to just this set or the other Daleks in the range? I have a pre order with BC for a single bobble head Dalek. BC order call it Dalek series 1.

October 10th, 2021 - 10:44amThey are exclusive to B&M as in no other retailer, but BC secured 200 units to sell themselves, the “special price” they quote is somewhat misleading in this case i think, i wasn’t aware they charge £5 to cancel orders for this type of item.

But if you cancel a 12 inch figure order I know it’s either 30 or 40 pound cancellation fee.
