BBC Studios partners with Build-A-Bear for new Doctor Who collection

September 27th, 2019 - 4:10pmYour probably looking at about £100+ per bear. These Build-A-Bear Workshops are pretty expensive after the initial purchase, the adding on all the accessories/clothing, etc. Certainly worth it for Teddy Bear Collectors. The only bear I can remember them doing was the 50th. Anniversary one. The 11th. Doctor Steiff which was about £300 or so?

September 27th, 2019 - 12:55pmI am just guessing, but I’m fairly confident that the range will be biased towards, if not entirely, NewWho

September 27th, 2019 - 1:00pmit depends where its largest market is, as a USA company that would lean toward nuwho as they only want the “latest” stuff, classic who merchandise is not at all popular in the states where as in the UK it would be popular across the board.

September 27th, 2019 - 10:25pmNot interested unless I can get a bear in a black leather jacket (and maybe a green or maroon jumper underneath).

September 27th, 2019 - 11:06amIt’s reassuring that they’ve managed to build this partnership and that we’ll start to see new merchandise become available as series 12 airs. I’m hoping that perhaps Character might revive their building range for 13.
