The Image of the Fendahl 4th Doctor Audio CD
Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk
Louise Jameson reads this novelisation of a classic TV adventure for the Fourth Doctor, as played on TV by Tom Baker.
“The Fendahl is death,” said the Doctor. “How do you kill death itself?”
In present day England, a group of scientists are intent on analysing an impossibly ancient skull. But when the ultra-modern technology of their Time Scanner combines with the ancient evil of Fetch Wood, it brings to life a terror that has lain hidden for twelve million years.
Arriving in the TARDIS, the Doctor and Leela must fight to destroy the Fendahl, a recreated menace that threatens to devour all life in the galaxy.
Louise Jameson, who played Leela in the BBC TV series, reads this classic novelisation of Chris Boucher’s 1977 serial.

70’s Child
July 31st, 2019 - 6:01pmYipppeee at Last!! Now for audiobooks of The Loch Ness Monster, Revenge of the Cybermen, Android Invasion, and even Destiny of the Daleks please!!!
The Flying Shark
July 31st, 2019 - 6:52pmThose are probably my top four most wanted releases, and especially surprised Loch Ness wasn’t done years ago. Who would you want for readers? I’m betting Jon Culshaw* tbh seeing as he does them all now (Tom hasn’t done them for ages, has he?), but it would be a nice surprise if David Gooderson or Terry Molloy did Destiny, with Nick Briggs as the Dalek voices of course.
*not meant to sound like an attack on Jon by the way, although I realise it sounds slightly combative.
70’s Child
July 31st, 2019 - 7:28pmOooohhh Flying Shark – yes please, how exciting – David or Terry reading Destiny of the Daleks because of their links with Davros!!! And any reading from Jon is a pleasure – so it would be marvellous if he could read either The Loch Ness Monster, or Revenge of the Cybermen or Android Invasion!! It would be the icing and cherry on the cake if Tom could read one of these stories – his reading of Scratchman is superb!! There certainly would be a lot of extremely happy fans with these audiobook releases!!
