Doctor Who Terminus 5th Doctor Audio CD

Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk

A suspenseful novelisation of a classic TV adventure for the Fifth Doctor, as played by Peter Davison. When the TARDIS console is wilfully sabotaged, the Doctor’s time machine becomes dimensionally unstable.

As the internal fabric begins to dissolve, Nyssa is drawn into a junction with a strangely deserted spacecraft. The Doctor, Tegan and Turlough follow in pursuit, and discover the shocking purpose of Terminus.

Whilst the Doctor encounters two space pirates, Tegan and Turlough become enmeshed in the spaceship’s infrastructure. Nyssa, meanwhile, learns that the nature of her sudden illness will have life changing consequences.

Hoping Sarah Sutton is the reader as it’s her last story, and I can’t think of many audiobooks done by her. Anyone?

She’s done none of them before, which is a shame – I don’t think it’s her bag. Probably it’ll be Mark Strickson or Peter Davison, both good narrators.

She’s narrated quite a few of the Big Finish Short Trips. Obviously they’re shorter, but I wouldn’t rule her out entirely.

I’ve just checked the Trancendental Toybox, and Sarah Sutton’s never done one…mind you, a lot of companions have left it until late (I was surprised the recently released Mark of the Rani was Nicolas Bryant’s first), so maybe they can tempt her with this? Otherwise, Peter Davison and Mark Strickson are excellent readers.
