Got this today! Fantastic figurine, best ‘human’ one we’re seen!! I noticed a mistake in the magazine, basically in the section where it has questions that many people ask about the episode, it said “questions people have asked about the anniversary special ‘the day of the doctor'” whereas the questions are about the episode ‘boom town’!!

I haven’t had mine for a few weeks but that was because they needed to check something on the credit card, maybe it’s the same problem with you? We still haven’t had the magazines yet and they weren’t that helpful when we called (don’t even know if it’s sorted, we’re just going to see if we get it when next issue comes out)

Not gonna lie, I would have preferred if we got the ninth doctor from maybe the doctor dances or bad wolf instead of boom town.

however i would like to see a Cassandra, gas mask zombie, and Ann droid. Especially Ann Droid just to make it unique because no other company has done a figure/ figurine of it.

It is the Ninth Doctor from The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, as you can see in the magazine cover the jumper has some rather dodgy photoshop to make it look that colour.

No, next is Scarecrow & Ninth Doctor

Then it’s Morbius and Brannigan and (probably) the Cyber king.

I have seen a picture of the real figurine and it’s best figurine so far for human likeness.

    The ones coming up are:

    26: Scarecrow

    27: Ninth doctor

    28: Morbius

    29: Brannigan

      30: Sea Devil

      32: Cyber Leader (Earthshock)

      35: Dalek Ironside

Just so you have the full list so far, also the third special is the Cyber King and the fourth special will be “Giant” (like a certain robot probably…)

One question. Why Brannigan for issues 29? He didn’t exactly leave much of an impact, did he? If it was Novice Hame then I could at least understand as she was the Face of Boe’s assistant.

    • Drdoooalot

      August 8th, 2014 - 10:37am

Hopefully we will get Novice Hame too.

    • The Werewolf

      August 8th, 2014 - 5:11pm

31 is the Gunslinger, 33 is Madame Vastra and 34 is the 5th Doctor.

And we won’t get another catperson. One is bad enough.

Those three figures are just rumours and have not yet been confirmed by either the editor or the team.

Well I might or I might not be buying this special edition featuring the Ninth Doctor or I might wait until this Saturday until the next issue of the Special Edition of the Doctor Who Magazine and in that it is awe aboot the 50th Anniversary Special The Day of The Doctor

The Ninth Doctor isn’t a special edition. The Cyberking is the the next special.

Also this isn’t out for well over a month so you won’t be in a rush to buy it.

  • DOCTOR WHO ONE

    August 7th, 2014 - 3:13pm

    CONTINUED FROM LAST COMMENT –

He preferred to be outside kicking a Football about when Doctor Who was on, and he would only watch it whenever a Dalek mutant would be shown or when a regeneration happened every few years, so unlike David Tennant and Peter Capaldi, who grew up watching the show, he was clearly not a fan.

Are you sure, because he’s said elsewhere he never watched the show when it was originally on, not even regeneration stuff. In fact the first thing he watched was The Talons of Weng-Chiang on DVD after getting the role.

    • DOCTOR WHO ONE

      August 7th, 2014 - 6:17pm

If you own series 1 on DVD as the box set, check out the special features, there is one where he talks to a BBC News interviewer and admits that he never actually watched the program as I mentioned in the comment.

  • DOCTOR WHO ONE

    August 7th, 2014 - 3:12pm

    “Rose ! . . before I go, I just want to tell you, you where fantastic ! . . absolutely fantastic ! . . and you know what ? . . so was I ! ” 🙂

All thou Chris was a good Doctor, he clearly would have not done Doctor Who if Steven Moffat brought back the show, cos he admitted before the episode ‘Rose’ was broadcast that he only wanted to do Doctor Who because of his friend Russell T. Davies was bringing it back because Russell is a fantastic writer, and that he never really watched the series growing up, as he admitted he preferred to be outside
