August 10th, 2014 - 9:14amPart of Doctor Who’s appeal around the world is it’s Britishness. I think that’s why they have waved the flag the last couple of years.

August 8th, 2014 - 5:27pmI lived in South Korea for nine years, I wish they’d visited Seoul when *I* was there 🙁
It’d be cool if they did a version of the T shirt with the Taegukgi (South Korean flag) on it. They’ll be showing “Deep Breath” over there soon, it’s already early Saturday in Korea.

August 8th, 2014 - 8:07amI have to say I’m amazed everyone is so bothered with this doctor who is British London and Cardiff get invaded or almost destroyed on a regular basis? What’s up with that
But seriously doctor who only recently become a global show but it will allways be British and the world tour marketing is fine how do we know they won’t do a different tshirts with other flags on for the various tour destination

August 7th, 2014 - 12:42pmI’ve never understood the Union Flag thing. I know its a British show (although you could argue its part Canadian), but the character is not British. You dont see Marvel and DC splashing the Stars n Stripes all over the place (OK, with the exception of the obvious Captain America…but that is justified).
I dont think flag waving is a great way to increase the shows international appeal.

August 7th, 2014 - 3:16pmI bet a lot of Canadian viewers are annoyed that Doctor Who was therefore not made in Canada considering as you said that Sydney was Canadian.

August 8th, 2014 - 1:27amThe Union Jack was good for the 50th year and all that. But now, nope.
Even more so, why use a Union Jack on the marketing for a *world tour*?!?! Doesn’t make any sense.

Created by a Canadian
Written by an Australian
Directed by an Indian
