Doctor Stu
September 22nd, 2013 - 3:57pmI think they just mean that they can’t wait for the time when they recieve the next issues and when they recieve their emporer (at a later date)
booboo
September 18th, 2013 - 4:59pmFound out I was set up from issue 6, seems to stem back from the test area

booboo

Booboo Jr
September 18th, 2013 - 5:29pmI’m happy too, I’m being sent a replacement Davros after mine broke in the post. They have also said they have received several complaints about the packaging, and are considering changing it.
cjayp33
September 18th, 2013 - 7:02pmIf you phone up they are really helpful, and yes I was set up from issue 6 originally with 1-5 on order (because i asked for them again when heard this was going national) despite welcome letter saying issue 2 as start issue. In end set up a new subscription via telephone when inquiring about start issue, and got all details through the post starting from issue 1.
However a nice big box with blue ribbon arrived this morning with just a binder that was broken (no sliders just the rows of pegs sticking out) waiting to be taken out.
cjayp33
September 18th, 2013 - 7:04pmso have inquired via FB why I have only got a binder which may be damaged and nothing else as I thought all my problems were sorted.
It does show how incompetent they are as it looks like test subscribers subscriptions start from issue 6 and not 1/2 as in welcome letters as they assumed we want to carry on where we left off. However they have failed to realize that we test subscribers only got 1-3 as they never sent 4-5 so really subscriptions should start from issue 4.

September 19th, 2013 - 3:13pmGlad to see your sub got sorted.

September 17th, 2013 - 8:10pmThose Daleks look great. I’m not buying this collection, but I might just get the Dalek issue if it’s in my local shop.
Doctor Stu
September 17th, 2013 - 8:03pmThe amount of Daleks I wanted when i was younger before I realised that money doesn’t grow on trees
Trenzalore
September 17th, 2013 - 8:06pmUnless you have a money tree, all you need is a fiver and a trowel. Mine hasn’t grown yet but hoping it will soon 😆
Doctor Stu
September 17th, 2013 - 11:51pmThat’s my kind of tree
The ergon
September 17th, 2013 - 7:52pmI,ve seen the advert but thought it was another cash in. I think these are really well crafted and love the exclusives but could I order these by advanced postal order as I don’t have a proper credit card or paypal account (which I don,t want because someone tried accessing money recently by fraudulent means fom said account which I have now closed down).
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 8:00pmi doubt you could pay that way, fraud sadly is a way of life now but it shouldn’t put you off, people are targeted all the time in one form or another, i get tons off spoof paypal and bank account emails all the time and some are very convincing
The ergon
September 17th, 2013 - 8:19pmcest la vie. Its once bitten twice shy though. I,ll either phone or contact them on the address or e-mail. It makes you very wary. Thanks for the reply just the same.
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 8:28pmyou have bank account though? you can pay by direct debit you dont need paypal or a bank card
THE ERGON
September 17th, 2013 - 11:01pmYour right. I,LL do that.
Jamiouse

September 17th, 2013 - 4:47pmcan someone post that pic of all the daleks as an actual picture, cos my laptop is stupid and won’t let me view the picture 🙁

September 17th, 2013 - 4:48pmcan you see this on the link https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BUXjVXrCEAAN9Lt.png

September 17th, 2013 - 5:04pmyes io can thanks
TheExtremeBlueTARDIS
September 17th, 2013 - 4:12pmI know this would be harder to actually purchase the figurines, but I would have prefered if these were released every week. It would make it much easier and known that some of those figurines aren’t until until 2014 summer the latest, it makes you think how long that will take!
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 4:19pmthey need to make it affordable though, dont forget it will be costing them a bit in postal costs as well
i know what you mean though, when they have shown you the stuff you want it now
TheExtremeBlueTARDIS
September 17th, 2013 - 4:30pmYeah, it is difficult thinking you would love a figurine, but it doesn’t come out until next year. What I am wondering is how the Third Doctor is being released a bit earlier, since he is one of the most popular Classic Doctors ever.
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 4:34pmthis is the problem though, everyone wants “their” or favourite Doctor 1st, you really have to look at this collection as a whole and take what’s coming in the order they decide – fans may be able to sway what’s included but not necessarily the order because some of that may be outs side of their control and they wile never ever keep everyone happy
TheExtremeBlueTARDIS
September 17th, 2013 - 4:36pmI guess so. I do think the line-up is cool though and will be definetaly getting the ones that I like the most. It’s a shame they aren’t releasing any companions.
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 4:41pmnever say never say never but we are back to the same problem, who do you release?
i could easily do a poll, in fact i could probably give them top 10 right now from a poll with 1000’s votes in it but you will still wont keep everyone happy
Dalek Comand
September 17th, 2013 - 5:23pmTo give you an idea of time the James Bond car collection went from 40 to around 130 cars. The collection continued for 5
years plus.
Trenzalore
September 17th, 2013 - 3:58pmWow, that pic could pass as part of the 50th episode.
Ben
September 17th, 2013 - 3:56pmIn the background next to the daleks is a woman in a white dress whith a blue thingie over it…. It looks like Abigail is it? From a Christmas carol?
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 4:00pmi thought it was an Ood
Ben
September 17th, 2013 - 4:03pmFrom the back it looks like an ood (the hair) however from the ones that are facing us it looks like a woman wearing a white dress
Trenzalore
September 17th, 2013 - 4:13pmI thought an unfinished omega
Ben
September 17th, 2013 - 4:17pm@ Trenzalore I did at first but if you look really closely it looks like a woman
Anonymous
September 17th, 2013 - 4:19pmNo, you can see the translator orbs and the red face tentacles.
Ben
September 17th, 2013 - 4:21pmYou are looking at the back of the figurine the back is blue and the front is white
Trenzalore
September 17th, 2013 - 4:24pmOh right, If you look closely you can see it is wearing a black and white top.
Anonymous
September 17th, 2013 - 4:40pmIt might not be painted yet, we all know the line-up for the first 23 figures and there aren’t any women with black and white striped tops.
You can see the orbs and tendrils so it must be a partially painted Ood.
Ben
September 17th, 2013 - 4:45pmIt is a woman in a white dress with a blue cloak on. She looks like Abigail from a Christmas carol
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 4:50pmi have asked them to clear it up, bound to be an Ood though as its on the production line and its in the 1st 20
Anonymous
September 17th, 2013 - 5:04pmAgain it is not a woman in a white dress. There are absolutely no figures even close to that in the line-up.
Ben
September 17th, 2013 - 5:45pmWell then we will just have to check
Anonymous
September 17th, 2013 - 6:33pmDone a zoom in, it looks more like Omega than an Ood in fairness, but it certainly isn’t a woman although I can see where you are coming from.
Doctor 909
September 17th, 2013 - 7:16pmI think it looks like a partly painted Omega but then it does look like there is hair. I really hope it is not Abigail because they aren’t (by the looks of it) doing companions and it would be weird to do her and not a companion.
DOCTORWHOSBIGGESTFAN
September 17th, 2013 - 8:26pmIt’s obviously a natural ood
Ben
September 17th, 2013 - 8:33pmNope we don’t know exactly what it is
Anonymous
September 17th, 2013 - 11:15pmIndeed, but I can guarantee it isn’t a woman with a white dress.
Ben
September 19th, 2013 - 7:56pmLets wait and see….. It might not even be doctor who related! 🙂
luke kelly
October 7th, 2013 - 8:13pminteresting… looks like 1 of 3 things to me either angel silurian or sea devil?
Anonymous
October 7th, 2013 - 8:20pmIt’s Omega, it certainly isn’t a Sea Devil (it isn’t even on the schedule yet).
luke kelly
October 7th, 2013 - 8:25pmthere is a sea devil coming soon they said on the q+a page on here! but it probaly won’t b the sea devils in that pic if they r not due for a long time
TC200
September 17th, 2013 - 3:46pmAre they doing the companions including brigadeer
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 3:51pmcompanions apparently not, i would consider the brigadier a key character in its 50 year history though so i hope we see him
Anonymous
September 17th, 2013 - 3:55pmThey might do companions at some point, but not for quite a while. Unless they are in special issues it won’t be until after issue 80.
Only Madame Vastra is an exception to this.
Judooning
September 17th, 2013 - 3:44pmIt’s really nice to see companies interacting with their customers and showing us all this!
Steampunk Doctor
September 17th, 2013 - 3:38pmThat could be one of mine haha !
T4RD1S
September 17th, 2013 - 3:33pmThat is a damn lot of daleks
The Flying Shark
September 17th, 2013 - 3:28pmThese look so good! I got my letter yesterday confirming the subscription or something like that.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
September 17th, 2013 - 3:11pmDALEKS CONQUER AND DESTROY !!!
DALEKS CONQUER AND DESTROY !!!
DALEKS CONQUER AND DESTROY !!!
Callum
September 17th, 2013 - 3:08pmThere isn’t enough mix between new and classic hence why i decided not to buy it.
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 3:10pmThen make a suggestion, that list is not set in stone
Some bloke
September 17th, 2013 - 3:34pmI reckon they should alternate between issues, you know – New Series Figure, Classic Figure, New Series Figure, Classic Figure – and so on 🙂
Anonymous
September 17th, 2013 - 4:14pmBut there are a lot more classic stories than stories post-revival (over 150 classics but not even 100 since the revival) alternating between the two will still leave behind a lot of the characters.
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 4:24pmi would tend to agree its very 2005+ heavy at present
I’m tempted to do polls, people seem to like polls.
Some bloke
September 17th, 2013 - 4:33pmI’m buying the series, but I’m most looking forward to seeing the classic series stuff. That is the series I grew up watching and therefore favour 🙂
booboo
September 17th, 2013 - 4:36pmwith you one that one
luke kelly
October 7th, 2013 - 8:14pmdidn’t grow up really with the classic series, but do agree the classics are better and this collection is leant towards 2005+
Peter
September 17th, 2013 - 3:06pmThat would double the price each month to those who wanted to collect both which would make it to expensive.
HornsOfAzal
September 17th, 2013 - 3:18pmregular release of doctor who figures from new and classic ..cheaper than the stuff from character options or underground toys or whoevers intermittlently churning em out these days…for my part there aren’t any classic aliens I wouldnt want to collect….. cant say the same for the new series.
I think this is the only way we’re ever going to get to see the classic aliens all classic fans want to see and which nobody is bothering with….
HornsOfAzal
September 17th, 2013 - 2:56pmHeres a suggestion for eaglemoss…release 2 series of mags…one with the CLASSIC stuff one with the NEW SERIES stuff…..with the benefits of the subscription regardless of which series you choose.
I think its the only way you’re going to satisfy fans. I know Id buy all classic series aliens and select the ones I consider to be best from the new series…admittedly not many….
