Dr Who Figurine Collection #1 The 11th Doctor
Figurine Collection 01 The Eleventh Doctor
Celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who this fantastic new figurine collection. The series draws from every era show and includes all eleven versions of the Doctor plus his greatest monsters.
All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered.
The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.
Image above is of the actual figure taken by ourselves
Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.
The collection features several different versions of the Daleks and Cybermen allowing you to trace their evolution over the years.
This is the definitive Doctor Who figurine collection.

September 12th, 2013 - 4:31pmI’m thinking about subscribing, but I’m not sure about whether or not to get the extra plinths and binders. Are the plinths worth it for all the extra you pay over the course of the subscription? I’ve also seen mention of potential special issues, will these be available to non subscribers? Just weighing up the pros and cons before I take the plunge :).

September 16th, 2013 - 7:41pmSpecial issues will be available to non-subscribers (but subscribers may get them for a discounted price).

September 6th, 2013 - 6:28pmThat would be correct as earlier this week, they had started to process issues 2/3 and issue may be processed at the same time as these depending on when you subscribed.

August 30th, 2013 - 2:40pmIssue 1 came at 12:00 today for me and the likeness to Matt Smith on the Figurine isn’t that bad I suppose but not brilliant. Still at least after a couple of weeks I’ll Recieve Davros!!’ 😀

August 30th, 2013 - 2:54pmI just find it dumb how they said it would take up to 21 Days to come when it came 2 days after they sent the Confirmation Email. According to my friend it wasn’t like that when he started Subscribing to Batman Automobilia. I hope your Issue’s come soon booboo
The Monitor
August 31st, 2013 - 8:01amI have made three calls about the new non-test issue to try and set it up. Had the email and now a letter, but still not a delivery.
Decided to go out and buy a pristine copy of issue one from the shops bearing in mind the card backing etc. Could not believe the variation in paint-I am sure Matt Smith would not have liked some of them.

August 30th, 2013 - 2:52pmanyone worked out yet just how many figures there could be?
400-500?
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby
August 30th, 2013 - 2:56pmThat would take much, much longer than 3 years to collect…
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 2:58pmWell there’s 26 magazines a year, more than 26 potential figures are introduced per year so potentially it could go on forever.
Other things like the DVD Files will have a finite lifespan because they are getting the material for 7 DVDs a year, but are releasing 26 a year so they’ll hit problems four or five years from now.
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby
August 30th, 2013 - 3:02pmWith that many Issues they could release every companion in all of their different costumes from different episodes including The Doctors (Hoping they will make Second Doctor in Fur Coat and maybe Dark Eyes Eighth Doctor plus Eleventh Doctors with Fezes, Stetsons, Tophats, Deerstalkers etc.
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 3:08pmIt’s a bit unlikely. Variants like that are very rare (their Marvel range only had two in the entire eight year run, both as special issues rather than in the main run).
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 4:06pmAlthough, with their premium subscription system I guess it is possible for them to include another lot of figures after the Daleks, maybe some special Doctor variants or something along those lines.
Dominic Kane
August 30th, 2013 - 6:44pmmy brother was collecting lord of the rings chess sets and there was three sets to collect and he subed to the collection and its took him 3 years to collect all of them but i think that there will be LOADS of doctor who one!
Dave
August 30th, 2013 - 10:36pmi hope theres loads of Doctor Who ones i dont care how much it takes out of my bank XD
Tardispals
August 29th, 2013 - 11:22pmBooboo do you know if they will be making Jenny and Vastra figures? 😀
Jamie
August 29th, 2013 - 11:52pmThey are making Vastra, its mentioned on the website. 😀
HornsOfAzal
August 30th, 2013 - 12:16amPlease not minor incidental human characters…if we have to have humans at least major characters like the Brigadier and then not until we have the classic aliens that aren’t being produced anywhere else….
MasterKasterborous
August 30th, 2013 - 8:49amTo be fair Vastra and Jenny aren’t minor characters though I would like some more older figures.
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 10:23amI’m sure there are plenty of older characters to come. Looking at the line-up the first ten issues are entirely from the most recent three Doctors.
However, when you look at the “coming soon” list out of the seven characters, five are from the original run. I get the feeling they’ve filled up the first lot of issues with modern characters to draw in the younger fans because they are only likely to buy the first few issues anyway. The collectors will stick with it.
If you really want something, post a wishlist on their Facebook page.
booboo
August 30th, 2013 - 10:25ami wonder if they will publish a fullish list of planned figures, they have with start trek ships
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 10:41amThey probably will but I hope they don’t. If they release too much information and offer themselves no flexibility we could be looking at up to three years before we see anything to do with the Twelfth Doctor.
Star Trek has the advantage of only having one movie every few years. Doctor Who pretty much has a series every year with lots of characters included.
booboo
August 30th, 2013 - 10:44ampersonally i prefer surprises, i would rather not know more than a few figures ahead
HornsOfAzal
August 30th, 2013 - 11:20amOh deary me – like fans have been demanding stuff on every other forum from character options/underground toys …? I hate to say ‘yeti’ again….
booboo
August 30th, 2013 - 11:23amassuming they can get the rights
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 11:37amWe don’t know what they are bringing out, at the moment they have revealed 17 figures and that’s it. They have rough plans for 80 figures and some specials, but we have no idea what they will be other than what they have announced and what they have said they are looking at.
For all we know the Yeti may very well be coming out, we just need to wait and see.
ZygonWarrior
August 29th, 2013 - 11:09pmcool!
HornsOfAzal
August 29th, 2013 - 9:18pmBy the way Im not a fan of the next gen but isnt the next gen enterprise released by eaglemoss a beauty…the only reason I mention it is because Id love a range of Who vessels released the same way as the trek ones…
I keep imagining beautiful replicas of the v-ship, minnow and beta dart from space pirates done the same way…. So many classic ships and I dont think we’ve ever seen any of them – bar the sontaran globe – released in kit or model form….
KORSAIR
August 30th, 2013 - 6:42pmI bought that Enterprise myself it’s a beauty. Hopefully Eaglemoss will be releasing a Tardis or two.
HornsOfAzal
August 29th, 2013 - 9:14pmHopefully we’ll see a substantial increase in the Hartnell Troughton era aliens before the series ends…..
I wish someone would start a dont be so abominable to yetis campaign
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 12:02amThere’s only been one figurine out so far and only a few more have been confirmed.
Trenzalore
August 30th, 2013 - 12:06amDosen’t mean we are not getting them, this collection could go on for a while, it could easily do most of the first doctor era monsters.
HornsOfAzal
August 30th, 2013 - 12:28amAssuming they produce more than 80 its going to be at least 2 and a half years before a yeti comes out it’s not on the list the only Hartnell and Troughton aliens listed are dalek/cyberman variants and an ice warrior….even then its not all the cybermen……
HornsOfAzal
August 30th, 2013 - 12:52amMy maths is wrong…I should have said 3 and a half years …I’ll be well on my way to 60 then…if Im lucky….if we’re all lucky….
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 10:02amIt’s not on the list? The official list has 17 figures on it and NONE of them are Hartnell or Troughton characters.
I’m presuming when you say “the list” you mean that booklet with pictures of monsters in it that came with the first issue (which only contains about 40 characters, and some of the already announced line-up isn’t included in there).
Besides, the Yeti are such large characters they will almost certainly be in a special issue alongside the range, not within the main range.
HornsOfAzal
August 30th, 2013 - 11:46amPresumably you didnt get the list of planned characters……
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 12:01pmYou presume correctly, because there is no such thing.
If you have such a list would you kindly share it with us, because so far I’m getting the impression your “list of planned characters” is the fold-out from the “Series Guide” in issue 1.
Doctor Who Crazy Ross
August 30th, 2013 - 1:48pmIf I’m right, there are around 47 figurines that have been confirmed & there are 80 issues…. so there’s still 33 figurines to be confirmed (but by the time that these figurines are released; they might be based on the Capaldi era).
Trenzalore
August 30th, 2013 - 1:54pmWhere did you find the information about 47 figures being confirmed and what are they? From what I have heard there are 10 figure we know of plus another 9 doctors therefore 19 figures.
booboo
August 30th, 2013 - 1:59pmthey are talking about the images in the leaflet for each doctor, i wouldn’t call it confirmation at this stage though
Trenzalore
August 30th, 2013 - 2:05pmOh right, I agree that is not confirmation, nowhere does it say ‘those pictures at the front is what we are going to release’ I thought they were just there to look nice. I seriously doubt they will do a Vervoid any time soon, dwm once got a complaint for putting it on their front cover because well… never mind. And a Terelptil I don’t think they will do that any time soon. I think they are just important monsters from that era as the title is ’50 years of doctors and monsters’
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 2:37pmThe figures that have been officially announced are
The Eleventh Doctor (The Pandorica Opens)
Davros (Journey’s End)
Cyber Controller (The Age of Steel)
Weeping Angel (Flesh and Stone)
Silurian Warrior (Cold Blood)
Dalek (Dalek)
Sontaran General (The Poison Sky)
The Tenth Doctor

Silent (The Impossible Astronaut)
Rassilon (The End of Time)
The Fourth Doctor
Dalek Supreme (Day of the Daleks)
Omega (The Three Doctors)
Madame Vastra
Sea Devil
Emperor Dalek (presumably from Remembrance)
Also pictures are Daleks from
Anonymous
August 30th, 2013 - 2:38pm*continued*
The Daleks, Genesis of the Daleks and Remembrance of the Daleks (although these are only digital models not actual ones).
So at the most 20 have been confirmed, with 10 given firm release slots.
cyberman6
August 29th, 2013 - 8:57pmReally good but i know i wont have room for all 80. Its going to be going for the next year and a half then we get series 2 and god knows how much we have then!
CyberGuy500
August 29th, 2013 - 8:12pmI bought issue 1 today. I’m very tempted to subscribe now, although I’m not sure paying around £600 altogether is worth it.
Any opinions?
booboo
August 29th, 2013 - 8:20pmits not wise to look at things as a whole, would anyone start collecting anything if they knew how much you would end up spending?
if you dont want to spend the money just buy the ones you really want

August 29th, 2013 - 8:36pmBooboo, As I am on subscription, should I keep the ones I like & sell on the ones that don’t appeal to me????

Trenzalore
August 29th, 2013 - 8:40pmI would get them all then wait a few years then sell the ones you don’t want
MasterKasterborous
August 30th, 2013 - 8:53amIt’s true not to look things as a whole; for example I’m trying to get the whole DVD range but I’ll probably end up spending a £1000 on it! I’m just not sure whether I want to get this set; I haven’t completed Monster Invasion yet!
NABlaze
August 29th, 2013 - 8:05pmI can’t believe how much the Matt Smith figure has changed between the test issues to the general release, the test one looks so scrawny. The face on the new one looks a lot better. I decided to get the general release one because it looks a lot better than the test one (And at £2.99 it was no big loss). I did have to shop around my local area to try and find the one with the best paint job though. 🙂
