August 11th, 2012 - 6:39pmInteresting that today I checked one Tesco which still had last week’s version. I happened to visit another one, inspired by the Olympics, and cycled a round 9 mile trip to get a salad, and was delighted to be rewarded with this find. Took me four attempts to get a set of 2x £2.99 versions, so technically 6 including Tesco. Sainsbury’s version is standard, but I am not sure about Asda if anyone can comment on their purchase from there.

It’s a hard call between DWA and DWM because they are very different magazines. Go for DWM if you love reading articles and a lot of info on classic Who too. If you like a more light-hearted mag with novelties, then go DWA.
I personally love DWA… but I’m a big kid lol. 😛

The mag is much funnier. I only get MI for th cards not the mag.

August 8th, 2012 - 12:28amI’d have to disagree. Sorry but DWA used to have good gifts… ow they only use old ones, re-designed old ones, and stuff based on old ones. Also used to love the magazine itself but not so much anymore… maybe it’s because I’m too old for it now.. I dunno!

August 8th, 2012 - 5:35pmthe only thing redesigned next week is the cyber head keyring really, and even that looks new. And this week there is nothing old. I think it has more new series secrets and activities than before but this magazine is for the 6-12 year olds. (although I’m 13)

August 11th, 2012 - 11:36amWhy did they just cover 11th Doctor companions and heroes? Do Rose, Martha, Donna, Sarah Jane and Captian Jack not exist in the whoniverse anymore? DWA only covers Matt Smith stuff where as DWM AND DWMI cover everything. Its actually a suprise or shock to see DWA cover anything before Matt Smiths time anymore!!!! And the covers are getting bad agian. Rorys arm in the cover is actually the Doctors wit his watch!!!

August 11th, 2012 - 12:33pmDWA has covered Rose, Martha, Donna etc…when they were on the show! Now that the Eleventh Doctor is here, it’s only right they cover stuff from his era (with the occasional nod to the past, and, to be honest, I’ve noticed a lot more stuff from the past in a lot of recent issues). Besides, if DWA are gonna cover anything from the past, they should do the Classic Series.

Plus even though SJA has stopped they should do more about it. DWM and DWMI do. DWA’s tribute to Elisabeth Sladen was poor compared to DWM.!
