Eleventh Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver (Re-Issue?)

11th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver

Sold out at most places long ago but now newly listed at www.bbcshop.co.uk

The Doctor’s multipurpose tool is a Gallifreyan device, with numerous settings, easily controlled at the press of his thumb. The Doctor has had many sonic screwdrivers of different designs throughout his life, and this latest one was created from within the TARDIS console itself after the previous one was destroyed during a confrontation with Prisoner Zero in the village of Leadworth.

This new sonic is larger, with a luminous green light but continues to be an essential part of the Doctor’s equipment as he explores the universe.
This faithful copy of the Doctor’s trusty Sonic Device has spring loaded extending action. Pressing the button on the side of the handle activates the LED and Sound FX which operates in CLOSED mode. Flip open the cap at the end of the Screwdriver to reveal an additional button that activates the light and sound effects when it is in full extension OPEN mode.

For ages 5 years and over. Requires 3 x L1154 batteries.

Caution, may need re-calibration to work on wood (see 2011 Doctor Who Christmas Special: ‘The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe’).

well it is perfect opportunity for more of these to be sold with the 12th doctor using the same one is series 8

all they need to do is change the packaging and put them on sale as the 12th doctors sonic

it will make them some good money

Argh, living in australia and being a whovian is hard work! The nearest abc shop is smack bang in the middle of the city, so is very hard to get to!

I have the same problem but have you tried Popcultcha or Mighty Ape?
I order most of my DW merch off these because I am a fair away from an ABC Shop.
