In the episode Love & Monsters, the mysterious Victor Kennedy gatecrashed a meeting of LINDA (London Investigation ‘N’ Detective Agency), encouraging them to focus on their goal of gathering information on the sightings of the Doctor.

In reality Victor Kennedy was an alien being in disguise. Hailing from Clom – the sister planet of the Slitheen’s own Raxacoricofallapatorius – the Abzorbaloff was capable of absorbing memories, consciousness and the physical bodies of victims by the merest touch.

As their new taskmaster exerted his influence, members of LINDA began to disappear one-by-one.

Yep thought the slab joke was uncalled for to be honest but loved the episode.

Me too. Hardly DW’s most memorable story or monster.

Very interesting more – the ‘received wisdom’ had always been that Peter Kay himself had previously vetoed any DW merchandise that used his likeness, and that was supposedly why Character Options never made an action figure. I wonder if this means Eaglemoss could eventually go for an Absobaloff too?

I had always understood he was not proud of the role and did not want any merchandise as well

Why did he hate it so much?, i thought it was very amusing. I Know he mentioned at the time during the making of that he thought it would absorbaloff his career. he could have said no.

I liked this episode and he was fine, it’s good to get some different characters.
