Don’t let the cover fool you, the synopses indicate the comic only has the 10th Doctor.

Am I the only one really not feeling this? None of the publicity has managed to explain what Time Lord Victorious actually is.

No, not just you. It seems to me like a re hash of the Time War without the Time Lords

I think there might be Time lords in this new platform, considering the 9th, 10th and 11th Doctors are on some of the merchandising?

Doesn’t grab me at all either… decision of which Doctors seems arbitrarY and down to some individuals’ preference, don’t know what all the flaP is about tbh! (-that’s just an opinion, folks) but happY to step aside for those who wanto go, and spend a loadov unnecessarY cash while theY at it!

My guess for what it is about. Ive not read spoilers, just looked at cover art.
On ther TV series, Tennant announces himself the timelord victorious at the end of The Waters of Mars, he has gone a bit mad, has no companions and the timelords are dead so he says he can do what he wants. Then he realises what a massive A-hole he is being and ood sigma appears and he knows it regeneration time.
So this series is set between Waters of Mars and End of Time, and is 8th and 9th stopping 10th from being power mad. Tennant will be almost the bad guy of the story. Daleks happen. Odd sigma will be 10ths companion.

I’m only getting the books and this comic series. The panini comic, well who knows when or even if it will be included in a collection. I’ve no interest in the CDs or toys.

“Time Lord Victorious is a brand-new multi-platform Doctor Who story told across audio, novels, comics, vinyl, digital, immersive theatre, escape rooms and games!”

“Time Lord Victorious will be set within the Dark Times at the start of the universe, when even the Eternals were young. It features the Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Doctors, travelling across Space and Time as they defend the universe from a terrible race.”

It’s all explained in black and white since the first announcement. What’s the problem?

LegoK9, most people don’t seem to read the information provided. They just look at covers and then speculate.

LegoK9, what i said and the offical announcment (two whole sentances of plot) are not mutially exclusive.
If they are not going to tie in the only mention of the timelord victorious in the TV show then why bother call it that.
I often see posts on this site, including a long angry rant on the page about the character options leaks, saying that speculation is bad and should not happen. What should we do then, just all post “cant wait to get mine”
Saying it is set in the dark times and has the doctors saving the universe is hardly answering OPs question of what timelord victorious actually is. “The doctor will travel across space and time!!! The doctor will defend the universe!!!” This is ground breaking, really deep dive, never before thought of stuff they have released to advertise it.

I read the “infomation provided” then used my memory of the show, and then looked at pictures on the covers of ood sigma being in it and tennant looking mean and angry and came to my conclusions.
So, Anon, most people do read the infomation provided, two sentances, and then look at other clues, other signs and signifiers, and then have though or two about what might be happening.

“I read the “infomation provided” then used my memory of the show, and then looked at pictures on the covers of ood sigma being in it”

That’s not Ood Sigma. That’s a new character called Brian the Ood, as mentioned in plot synopses.

Shows how much you’re actually reading…

“So, Anon, most people do read the infomation provided, two sentances”

Every single story announced over the past few months has had a plot synopsis that give us more info.

You can find them on this very website!

Not really, at all. He’s the most popular Doctor of the new era and is voted so time and time again. He is guaranteed to sell so….where’s the issue?
