All three two-part episodes from the fifth series of the ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off, created by the award-winning writer, Russell T. Davies.
The programme follows the adventures of one of the Doctor’s most famous former companions, investigative journalist Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen), as she faces all manner of alien life-forms and restores Earth’s cosmic balance with the help of her young assistants Clyde (Daniel Anthony), Luke (Tommy Knight) and Rani (Anjli Mohindra).
Episodes are: ‘Sky’, ‘The Curse of Clyde Langer’ and ‘The Man Who Never Was’.
Includes the special feature: Goodbye Bannerman Road – Remembering Elisabeth Sladen. A tribute to Elisabeth Sladen with contributions from those who worked closely with her, including The Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith.
Released on February 6th 2012.

December 23rd, 2011 - 10:38pmI don’t see the point in a single release of 5th Series, because it is incomplete, the series was never fully made, the story is incomplete.
Surely they should have just released the three episodes with the COMPLETE box-set ? 🙁

Anyway, short as it is, the series IS complete. It just wound up being much shorter than the others.

December 24th, 2011 - 7:47amOn the cover of the boxset, though, it doesn’t actually use the word ‘complete’, it just says ‘The Fifth Series’. Is it like this on all SJA releases?

December 23rd, 2011 - 9:37pmOh yeah, they have used the S4 promo pictures! As for the cover, I think it would have looked better with the Metalkind to the left, the Totem Pole in the middle and a Skullian/Mr Serf on the right.

Shame the cover is all about Sky (the episode) as I really, really didn’t like it which was disappointing since it was the introductory episode to the last series. The other stories were good though. My fave was The Curse Of Clyde Langer.
