Sixth Doctor Regeneration Figure

toys-colinbakerregenDoctor Who Exclusive
Sixth Doctor Regeneration Figure

This set features an exclusive action Figure of the newly regenerated 6th Doctor as played by Colin Baker still wearing the mud splashed outfit of his previous incarnation.

Change my dear .. And it seems not a moment too soon!

This item appears to exclusive to Underground Toys and Forbidden Planet.

The TARDIS arrives on Androzani Minor, the source of a life-prolonging drug refined from a substance called Spectrox. Production of the drug is controlled by Sharaz Jek, a madman in self imposed exile, who blames Morgus, a powerful industrialist on Androzani Major, for all his misfortunes.

The two sides are pitched in a convoluted ongoing war which, unknown to Jek, gives Morgus a monopoly of Spectrox on his planet, Major. Jek becomes infatuated with Peri, and saves her and the Doctor from being executed on Morgus’s orders.

However, the two travellers learn that they have contracted spectrox toxaemia, a fatal disease.

The only antidote is the milk from a queen bat, which the Doctor must find in the deep caves on Minor. With moments to spare, the Doctor carries Peri back to the TARDIS, where he gives her all the milk he has collected. She recovers, but the Doctor has to regenerate to save his own life.

Im so getting this the next time Im at the FP store. Is it worth the 15 QUID? Hardly worth half that much! But Ill get it any way since Im a Sixth Doctor fan and have ALL of the Sixth Doctor episodes with the exception of Timelash which I hear is incredibly terrible. I have also a long time ago bought the Real Time Blue Coat Sixth Doctor (now THAT is what you call worth £15) but I am not open it until special occassion, the night I watch The Finale of Trial Of a Timelord in surround sound and on my giagantic Plasma Screen TV (no im not spoilt or a millionare). Go Sixth Doctor! Exelsior!

I COLLECT THE SIXTH DOCTORS! (read, you will become interested)
Im geting this figure, fp never bring their prices down but I reckon its worth it because the Sixth Doctor is MY Doctor, he make me laugh and the way he responds to peris costume in twin dilemma so funny:) (priceless aswell!). peri walk in, he look at her, slowly leans forward and tilts his gaze
to meet with her eyeline and lets her have it; YUCK!

I also got the Real Time Blue coat Doctor, the Trial of A TimeLord box set, the Special edition Rememberance of The Daleks, Horror Of Fang Rock and just to finish off the Moxx of Balhoon! 🙂 All of these things I have alway want since I became a fan back in April 2009. But I have come to decision I wont open Blue Sixth Doctor (which I have always always wanted its almost too marvellous to be true) until I get the original costume in The much anticipated upcoming Eleven Doctors set.

I would go ahead and just buy it seperate, but the one in EDS is a complete rerelease! It will be EXACTLY THE SAME as appeared in Attack of The Cybermen. You mean to say they wouldnt even glue on a different cat badge? They wouldnt even repaint the bow string? The bow string, the blue rope around hhis collar with white polka dots, they should repaint it purple as it appears in Trial of a Timelord.
Then again, there may always be more Sixth Doctor rereleases in the future…:)

Delta and The Bannermen road, you ask is the Real Time Sixth Doctor any good?
Yes it is! I should certainly say so and although there are few pictures of the actual set opened, the blue coat is splendid looking. And it comes with a black sonic lance too.

I personally would recomend it. In real life the blue is actually much darker than it appears in product advertisement…picture…thingys. Whatever you call them.

If you like the Sixth Doctor, or if youre a Sixth Doctor manian like me, get it now! Forbidden planet have recently restocked in this figure.

I hope i get it soon, i really………really………REALLY want it.

I like this figure. Its not £14 material. But ive always found that the fifth Doctors costume really suits Colin Bakers Doctor. A big splodge of mud cant hide that fact.

And speaking of big splodges of mud, people (such as batmanmarch of youtube) have complained that it isnt screen accurate and that the splodge of mud is too big and doesnt look like it does in Caves of Adrozani.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but thats rediculous. Character Options may have made some shameful mistakes, The fifth Doctor with a sonic screwdriver and no cricket ball or hat or stick of celery, you fools! And the time they practicly ruined Captain Jacks figure by releasing him with huge giant hands, and the time they released that rubbish sea devil, then they made a good one that was exclusive to forbidden planet overpriced.

They havent made any companions, and by now we really should have atleast one companion, and guess what? There are plans to release companions…such as Nyssa, Peri, Zoey, afew more each with a monster they encounterd…..exclusive to that accursed forbidden planet dot com!

And after all that some Whovians are complaining about the Sixth Doctor being in a muddy coat having a bit too much mud on it? If youre getting a figure with mud on it, it may as well be very muddy!

So what if the entire right arm is caked in mud, whats your problem? So what if he looks like hes just been on the set of Willy Wonker and the chocolate factory? What exactly is so incredibley bad about this? The muddy stains dont have to be accurate. They can be over exaggerated to be more distinctive and noticeable because the muddy stains are what the figure is for!

    SHEESH!

I think they need to stop doing the Doctor’s for a bit and start realizing companions because we need them not just for collections but episodes and besides I’m sure The old Doctor’s are getting lonely and need to show someone there fun lifestyle.

I don’t mind having companion variations as long as they come with the monster or character like Donna with Agatha Christie or Jo Grant with Mike Yates.
But the Doctors just seem to wear the same outfits all the time

I hade heard that ones in the USA are numbered but in the UK there are no numbers on them, the 2nd doctor figure i got form FP has no number. I thought originally these were ltd edition but perhaps not although i would imagine there will be no 2nd run so i suppose they could be ltd in that sense.

Its getting a bit confusing with all these exclusives and ltd ed etc

Because the 1st and 2nd Doctor figures were limited edition, doing a 1st to 2nd Doctor regeneration set might be a good idea. It would make them more available to people who didn’t get them originally.

There should be a Tom Baker Variant from Pyramids of Mars in the long brown frock coat. There could be a be Tom Baker Varient with Leela from The Sunmakers in long grey frock coat. There could be a Tom Baker varient from Destiny of the Daleks with Romana 2, Lalla Ward, in the long tan frock coat. I collect the Character Options figures in America, and I would like to see my idea of Tom Baker varient figures implemented.
