As ive put on the Harrops David Tennant thread but in more detail the sculpts are excellent it’s the painting letting them down.
    Can easily be corrected.
(By professional of course not yourself if you’ve never picked up a brush in your life before).

Paint apps on the clothes are already great, just the face needs abit more attention.

I received the 4th Doctor figure today. Some people have complained about the likeness. When you have it in hand, it’s fine and does look like Tom. Also, the costume is fantastic with so much detail and the paint job is perfect. I advise people to buy this now!!

Sorry but no excuse for bad likenesses . They are supposed to be hand crafted and accurate. Other ranges like from Captain Scarlett are good. These day the BBC will approve of anything!

Agreed. He looks like he’s going to faceplant and fall asleep!

    Loving this range so far

Appreciate the Doctors Look in their particular style. I saw them at the open day and they fit in well with the range as a whole and do look different in hand.

One thing I’ve learnt with these figs is pics don’t do them justice when you have them ‘ in hand ‘. I’ll be buying this next week , roll on Jon Pertwee , Dalek & Sea Devil πŸ™‚

Ha! This made me laugh, he looks so sad, Where’s his trademark grin? He looks worse than me taking my edexcel maths yesterday πŸ˜† The body is perfect but the head… I understand it may be difficult with face sculpts but I’m pretty sure he’s never looked that sad when saying ‘would you like a jelly baby?’

Doesn’t look a thing like Tom! Not just the facial features, although it looks nothing like him, but also his expression. That is not the face of the Fourth Doctor! He looks incredibly sad.

you are going to have to get used to Harrops style of sculpting on these Doctors, its the way they work on all of their ranges.

They are not going to be to everyone’s taste but will appeal to figurine collectors of this style.

I’m just expressing my opinion of it. I don’t buy them, and thus it doesn’t bother me. I was just saying, in my opinion, that it doesn’t look like Tom. The body, and detail thereon is wonderful.

Look at the misery on his face.

At least his happy to offer a Jelly Baby.
