You don’t get your absent note in on time, and they cancel your payment, but that’s mostly my fault I couldn’t make it in on friday, never botherd to get an absent note until Tuesday night, FAILURE !!! 🙁

October 24th, 2011 - 2:59pmI would say get it seperately , the TRU set isn’t worth it if you have any of the figures.
Not to mention that in the TRU set: you don’t get a Phsycic container with Idris and all the other figures are the same. 😛 Which makes it not worth getting IMO.

I’ll be sure to get this one when I do, and as for the Pandorica set, not getting it unless I get to have the moulded walls to go with it, so 😛

October 20th, 2011 - 3:27amIt’s more of a product improvement rather than an official ‘variant’ (well, in my opinion anyway). This sometimes happens with the second ‘printing/pressing’ of items (including toys and figures). I.e. a second printing of a book is the same book but may have all the typos fixed.

October 21st, 2011 - 3:57pmi respect your opinion, but i think that they should have made the one with the altered hair only, because when the other was released, everyone moaned about the hair, so if character had done the ariant first time, it would have been better for those who bought it, then wished they had got this

October 22nd, 2011 - 1:44pmYou’re actually spot on. They didn’t get the hair ‘perfect’ the first time (and people complained a lot about it), so they’ve now ‘improved’ it (which I give them kudos for doing).
And yes, they should have just released the altered one, rather than both. But in saying that… making toys is quite a long process, and even a small alteration can take quite a while to get into production, and might have delayed the figure/wave.
So better late than never, although it’s understandable to be annoyed if you have version 1 already (and want v2).

It was still in its brown box of 6 sets on the floor waiting for a home to be made on the shelves. The silence are grey open mouth versions, but their arms didn’t look very well attached and jackets not fastened very well. River is the new variant, with a hand gun. The doctor has a sonic.
The 10 inch 11th doctor was £24.99! But if you spent £50 on doctor who stuff, you got it free 🙂
