There are 165 cards to collect in set one, including stinky scratch ‘n’ sniff cards, shiny foil cards, a moving lenticular and special augmented reality cards that allow you to see the Doctor, his TARDIS, and some of his most fearsome foes come to life on your hand in 3-D.
Seeing a 3-D Dalek levitate off your hand for the first time is something you’ll never forget, I guarantee!
Hopefully by now you will have caught our TV ad, just one part of a large-scale media and sampling campaign that is accompanying the DWMI launch, with support from all major grocers.
There are 52 fortnightly issues to collect. Part 1 is £1.50, thereafter it’s £2.60 though you can also buy the card packs separately at retail at £1.50 per pack of nine cards. Also don’t miss our collector tins, which contain a special edition mystery card!
My team is already working on set two, which features 180 new cards to tie in with the second half of series 6 of Doctor Who, broadcasting in the autumn. But for now, as the Doctor would say, Geronimo!

August 5th, 2011 - 9:28pmMy friends little brother got a slitheen sludge adventure card from the test set(because the old daleks were on the back) and then my friend got the old supreme dalek(red) from the test set as it had a different background! Had anyone else experienced this problem? And it was a normal pack of cards as well!

August 5th, 2011 - 2:59pmI was in WH Smiths today, when I saw that they had got some more MI Cards in. I wasn’t going to buy any though as I had bought the magazine yesterday and four packets the weekend before. Somehow, I ended up buying another two packets, and to my dissapointment, the whole of the first pack were doubles. I then opened and flicked through the cards in the second pack, and to my suprise I found the Infinite at the back! I couldn’t believe it! I now have 37 cards left to get, and am pretty confident that I’ll be able to find them all!!!

August 6th, 2011 - 10:23amI remember when I got my first card pack of doubles! Here’s a hint try and get a mix of different packs from the box! Get some from the bottom and some from the top! It helped me with my collection and I’ve finished it now! (just need the infinite card)

August 6th, 2011 - 7:59pmOh yeah, I hate it when you have to bid, prices start cheap and then get really out of hand. As I said in an earlier comment, I have now found a mate to trade with, and am waiting for him to get back to me about which of my doubles he wants. The second set being released with Issues 10-13 seems likely, as the company themselves have said it will be released around the same time as the show is back on the TV. Thanks again for your advice, and I will keep you up to date with how close to completing my collection I am.

I really wanted a cyberman graveyard attack adventure card in the last set plus there are two cards from the test set we still need! I didn’t get the test set as I font live in the area it was released in but I’ve heard about the two cards we need from them!

I would like to see some new Classic Cards, and we are obviously going to get more Series 6 Part 1 Cards, and a few Sereis 6 Part 2 Cards. A Cyberman Graveyard Attack card would be good, but I thought we got all the cards from the test set, which ones didn’t we? I didn’t get the Test Set either, we might get those other two cards in Set Two.

ironside! This was odd as you are only meant to get 3 in 9 packs! Oh well I guess it was luck or the fact I was rummaging around for different packs!

At the beginning of one of the mags where it has card games and info/stats of the cards it had the 3d TARDIS and i got the 3d tardis in the pack of cards that came with that issue

August 1st, 2011 - 1:44pmIt depends really, the prices vary quite a bit for commons and rares although they tend to be about £1, super rares tend to go for about £2 and ultra rares between £5 and £10.
