News on B&M 2019 Figure / Tardis Sets (Closed)
As I’m sure many are aware this year B&M are expecting several new, exclusive Doctor Who sets in the coming weeks and months.
These consist of Three 3 figure sets, Two Tardis Sets and a new line of Three 2 figure sets.
A press release is due Today, with updates as to what to expect in some of these sets. Full details however will be reserved for a later date.
Individual posts on each set will be added to the site as soon as exact contents are known.

June 11th, 2019 - 9:21amI’m trying to compile a list of all the B&M variants that have been released. Has someone already done the work, can anyone point me towards such a list?
Also, more importantly, I’m trying to figure out how scarce some of the releases were. Here in Scotland, stuck in the middle of the central belt halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh there’s few and far between B&M locations that stocked the figures. Either overstocked multiples of some very common ones or not even sight of any of the scarcer ones. There’s some massive gaps in my collection.
I wish their online presence offered a more even playing field for collectors. Especially those of us who are geographically challenged. I don’t mind hunting for figures, but it’s nice to know there’s something waiting at the end of the chase. Something more than just a wild goose 🙁

An online presence is difficult as their business model is to get people in stores.

June 11th, 2019 - 9:40amThanks Booboo. A bit random is probably an optimistic way of describing some of the releases. I’m guessing figures were sent to locations with a greater population density. There’s some cities in England that have a larger population than all of Scotland. So I’m kind of handicapped before I even start trying to chase any releases. Then the spotters announce sightings through social media, and your website, none of which are near me. Or if they’re relatively close then there’s bound to be others who’ve managed to get there first.
I’m working through your many pages of merchandise information. Impressive! Heartfelt thanks. It’s a bit overwhelming to see how much there is now compared with the wilderness years between classic and new era series.

June 11th, 2019 - 9:50ami know how you feel, we live in Cheletenham, which is a biggish town, and they never got the 3 pack or (3rd) Tardis, so i went to Evesham, a much smaller town who had the 3 packs but not the Tardis so i had to get someone to send one to me.

June 11th, 2019 - 12:04amThe Tardis sets have been constantly in stock my local B&M this year so far easier to get hold of than last years set. Hopefully the next sets will be just as easy to get as I really won’t be paying double on eBay for anything.

If everyone remembers the Bill Potts figure ended up being a repaint and released in B&M before the Amazon released.

June 10th, 2019 - 7:19pmI’ve never yet been lucky enough to find any DW stock in these shops. It’s a shame that these guys don’t do on line shopping. That said it is the Aldi of the toy shops. Low cost, no frills etc,. I just wish there was an easier way of ordering, reserving and/or they had more locations. Great for those lucky enough to live near one.
