Hero Collector Debuts Doctor Who Baking Sets

Hero Collector Debuts Doctor Who Baking Sets

“I need oil, water, tree bark, a saucepan, nine containers, an old newspaper, a touch of ox spit, a chicken poo and a biscuit.”

“Why a biscuit?

“I love biscuits.”

Hero Collector – designers, manufacturers, and publishers of high-quality collectibles from across the worlds of pop culture – is joining the baking community with its latest Doctor Who collection; baking sets to help fans create treats that are officially out-of-this-world!

These baking sets form part of Hero Collector’s new handicrafts range, with each decorated tin packed with equipment and instructions (plus online videos) to bring Gallifreyan goodies within reach of Doctor Who fans.

The collection is scheduled to launch in Spring/Summer 2020, and starts with three cosmic cookie tins:

  • TARDIS and Dalek Cookie Set: Make a tasty TARDIS or bite into a delicious Dalek! This tin contains two reusable cookie cutters, an adult-size Who-themed apron and a recipe/icing booklet.
  • Tea Time Lords Cookie Set: Time for tea? Time for Time Lords! This biscuit tin contains four reusable cookie cutters for the Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Doctor – plus a Doctor Who tea towel and a recipe/icing booklet.
  • Monsters Cookie Set: Fill your teatime with terror! This cookie tin contains four reusable cookie cutters featuring the Cybermen, Sontarans, Weeping Angels, and The Silence – plus a Doctor Who tea towel and a recipe/icing booklet.

Get a first look at these Doctor Who designs at Birmingham Spring Fair (NEC Birmingham, February 2-6), or New York Toy Fair (Jacob K. Javits Center, February 22-25).

Fans and collectors can stay tuned for further details about Hero Collector Handicrafts, including the reveal of more upcoming Doctor Who Baking Sets!

doubt it would have made any difference, these are now part of an entirely separate range (you are only seeing the Doctor Who stuff there’s a lot more of it) nothing to do with the figurine collection really.

They specifically set out a variety of who related items on a questionairre some time back. There was a rather nice shot of the newer variety of Dalek saucer next to the spacecraft option, the choice of consoles was on there, as was badges as a choice and the above culinary related items (the only one I didnt vote for infact :D) Fingers crossed spaceships will follow along soon with a few classic vessels.

First, this is nothing to do with me, but I love it.

Second, you need to know that the questionnaire would be part of the beginning of the process. Businesses like Eaglemoss do want to know what people would like, and they all actively look for what people are talking about.

But with Eaglemoss, in the above instance, deciding what to do can’t be solely based on was voted for. I hope you understand that there are many factors involved in what it is people want and what businesses can achieve, both practically and what is worth them making and selling.

This is a quick and fairly simplistic response to a very complicated topic, but I hope it helps answer why what you might want isn’t necessarily going to appear.

And before you reply, that doesn’t mean anyone anywhere has given up on any of the other ideas people were asked to choose a preference.

Not my cup of tea personally. Hope we get a new set of trading cars in the future. Feels so long since we last had them in UK shops. 2013 I believe were the last ones for the 50th anniversary.
