Four 5″ 12th Doctor Figures on the Way?
According to reports from USA On-line retailer www.whona.com, 4 different 5″ 12th Doctor figures have been solicited , a Black outfit, Red outfit, White outfit and a Polka Dot outfit.
There is no more information but if correct news should be immanent.

The prospect of a Capaldi is captivating and the occasional 5″ release will be appreciated by fans/collectors.

July 2nd, 2015 - 4:30pmAnd this year it seems likely that the BBC will release the Series 9 Trailer at the Doctor Who Panel so the relase of these would perfectly coincide with that and they will undoutbly sell. Also considering the time it takes to design and develop Figures this surely means that Character have had practically a Year to make them but I could be wrong. I’m just going to hope this is the case as its been pretty stale 5″ Figure wise since the release of The Time of The Doctor Set.

July 2nd, 2015 - 4:48pmThe Big Al did also hint in a Tweet on Twitter a while back “Some Doctor Could Contend…” and that if you look closely each of the beginning letters on the 4 Words spell out SDCC so he knows what’s coming out and this Announcent from WhoNA pretty much sums up that its a clear possibility, fingers crossed!

“Just a note; we were not “officially” solicited for these. They were in the list of upcoming releases but there were no pictures or prices.
Sounds like WhoNA weren’t allowed to let the cat out of the bag yet and Character are now doing anything they can to sway attention from it.
This is not to throw a damper on anything, but it is to let everyone know that something is in the works. There were also no release dates, so it could be next year as far as we know. Hope not, of course, but we don’t want to misrepresent any news here.”

June 22nd, 2015 - 7:17pmHad me thinking though when this was announced/ posted whether Character actually have the Sculpts made already or if these Figures are just an idea thats in the pipeline and that they are waiting to see if Stores like Forbidden Planet are interested in buying into the idea, Character then make them and then sell them.

June 20th, 2015 - 8:20amI have plugged places for information and white refers to his main outfit, with cardigan, black refers to the jumper, polka dot is the polka dot shirt and red they appear to be in the dark about. Maybe these are due a Christmas release and in fact, red is his new costume. Hmm… The plot thickens.

June 19th, 2015 - 7:09pmGetting to the age where my bank account is focusing more on my classic DVD collection… Also my DW animations are using Lego not these so I don’t want to spend too much money on them…
I’ll probably get just one – the only problem is which?
Black – Could mean: Black cardigan, Black jumper, black hoodie, black shirt, Black cravat (Orient Express)
Red – Could mean: Red jacket lining (i.e. action pose from the costume’s press release), purple shirt, red spacesuit
White – White shirt (with cardigan/hoodie) is the only possible option I think; makes you wonder whether the others are all shirt colours too.
Polka dot – Spotty shirt (Kill The Moon), spotty jumper (I think I spotted it in Listen)
I’m thinking most likely all shirt colours (black could be a jumper instead).
I’m not keen on any of the spotty outfits to be honest; otherwise it depends whether any are exclusives and which ones (if any) I find!

June 20th, 2015 - 3:40pmIt could refer to the dressing gown but it seems an odd figure to release – why make what may well be one of the four 5″ figures that are ever made of this Doctor an outfit that he was wearing for probably less than half an episode when you could make one of his many other outfits?
