Doctor Rules
April 8th, 2015 - 6:44pmThis looks fantastic. I personally would like to see a Zarbi, a WOTAN War Machine, a Wirrn and the Face of Boe as specials.
The Werewolf
April 8th, 2015 - 6:48pmA Zarbi, and probably a Wiirn too, is small enough to be a regular figurine and should not be a special.
Doctor Rules
April 8th, 2015 - 6:55pmReally? I think the Wirrn and Zarbi are huge. In The Ark on Space a Wirrn is nearly as tall as The TARDIS
The Werewolf
April 8th, 2015 - 7:06pmSize comparison-wise think how tall the Silence model is for example. They would make for fairly bulky regular figurines but still fit on the right base size but would look small as specials.
Doctor Rules
April 8th, 2015 - 8:37pmYeah I suppose so. Well all in all, I would love to see a Wirrn or a Zarbi, regular or special however the package comes 😀
VespiformsSting
April 9th, 2015 - 1:28amWar Machine is an excellent choice… Drashig, Shrivenzale, Kroll
The Werewolf
April 9th, 2015 - 2:10amOoh, a Drashig would be nice.
Doctor Rules
April 9th, 2015 - 10:23amyes Kroll would be excellent. I would be chuffed to bits if they did the Weed Creature from Fury from the Deep!
The Werewolf
April 9th, 2015 - 11:54amI’m not sure Kroll would work well given the shape of him, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried.
CaptainJimiPie
April 8th, 2015 - 2:30pmI built a scale replica of the emperor recent and whilst my measurements weren’t perfect either I have to say the head on this render looks a little bit squat and not tall enough
Here is mine if anyone is interested

April 8th, 2015 - 9:46amThe one thing that I am wondering about the Beast is if it has it’s arms outstretched, how big will the packaging have to be? The only reason I was thinking about that is because surely the bigger the packaging, the more likely it is for something to snap off (eg. the arms). But apart from that random concern, I am really exited for these amazing figurines!

April 7th, 2015 - 1:15pm# 50 is the Davros Emperor fig ( from ‘ Remembrance of the Daleks ‘ ; not sure on # 49 at present . Might be Jon Pertwee 3rd Doctor ?

April 7th, 2015 - 2:22pmIts the decayed master from deadly assassin
The Werewolf
April 7th, 2015 - 4:25pm47 is The Third Doctor
48 is The Teller
49 is Emaciated Master

April 7th, 2015 - 1:06pmHow can the inclusion of companions ‘ spoil ‘ the collection ??? It’s ” The Doctor Who Figurine Collection ” ; not ” The Doctor Who Monsters Only Collection ” ; isn’t it ?
The companions since the Hartnell days have been an integral part of the show & it’s stories thus IMO they deserve representation of some sort . a Subset collection like the one Eaglemoss did for DC’s. ” Blackest Night ” set would allow inclusion of companions whilst leaving the main collection to continue as per norm. Allowing the ‘ purchasers ‘ the choice to buy the companions or not. Eaglemoss will at some point make them whether you like it or not — profit rules & Eaglemoss won’t turn down the chance to make money . That is fact.
VespiformsSting
April 7th, 2015 - 2:47pmBecause theres a mass of excellent aliens which need to be done and they usually at least turn out looking like the character they represent…..the Doctors barely look like who theyre supposed to be but can be at least recognized as part of a display…the companions however will be simply human figures who in the end could be anyone….The Brigadier might be recognizable by virtue of his uniform Jamie by his kilt but thats about it…who wants companions anyway when there are masses of untouched monsters to be produced and at the outset they said it was going to be a celebration of 50 years worth of drs and aliens…..Id rather see every last fish person, taran wood beast and aridian before any of the companions except of course Kamelion which stands alone as an intriguing alien android…..
VespiformsSting
April 7th, 2015 - 3:25pmI would however love a seperate Dr Who space vehicles/ vehicles set…….in the same way theyve done the star trek ships and the batmobilia collection
Anonymous
April 7th, 2015 - 3:51pmOne of the other sources of confusion is that one of the descriptions said that the collection “includes the Doctor and his enemies” of course all that does is include Doctors and enemies, it doesn’t exclude things as some seem to think.
The Werewolf
April 7th, 2015 - 4:28pmVespiformSting sums up my opinion well, I really want a figurine of Styggron for example.
Martin Fahey
April 24th, 2015 - 11:43pmGot to agree with VespiformsSting, but I would add K9 as a companion I would like to see in this set
The Surgeon
April 7th, 2015 - 12:32pmAnyone know 49 and 50? The last I heard was 48 being the Teller, then 51 being the Seventh Doctor.

April 7th, 2015 - 2:26pm49 is the decayed master from deadly assassin and 50 is emperor davros

April 7th, 2015 - 5:23pmCheers.

April 7th, 2015 - 10:24amSo when are we likely to see the beast released?
The Werewolf
April 7th, 2015 - 11:24amMy guess is with issues 48 & 49
Funko pop crazy Ross
April 6th, 2015 - 7:12pmHopefully we can get a humanoid master figurine soon, I can’t really understand why they have left it this late to make one considering they did Rassilon in like issue 10…
Zombula
April 6th, 2015 - 4:57pmI’m also hoping the 8th Doctor Paul McGann fig will be made in his. ‘Night of the Dr ‘ aattire as opposed to his TV Movie costume but to be honest I would be happy with either one.
Hopefully it won’t be long til we get some companion figs like Ace / Leela etc.
Funko pop crazy Ross
April 6th, 2015 - 6:35pmHopefully we won’t get some companion figs like Ace / Leela etc.
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 6:38pmI agree with Crazy Ross’s comment, I hope we don’t ever get any companions to spoil the collection.
Funko pop crazy Ross
April 6th, 2015 - 7:15pmIf anything the closest thing to a companion figurine would be Romana seeing as she is a time lady.
Cpl. Hicks
April 6th, 2015 - 9:02pmI thought it had been stated that the series would contain no companions
Anonymous
April 7th, 2015 - 2:24amNo, it had been stated the series does not currently contain any companions, which you can see if you look at the collection.
They have also stated that the collection may contain companions in future should the get an extension past 80 issues, but those against them tend to ignore that point to suit their claims (which is why you probably haven’t heard about it, because many people conveniently ignore it).
Martin Fahey
April 24th, 2015 - 11:39pmI think the only companion that I would like to see in the current run would be K9. Leaving the ‘human’ companions out completely
Zombula
April 6th, 2015 - 4:51pmGlad I asked Ben to post the figs 50 – 55 but wasn’t expecting to see The Beast or Evil of the Daleks Emperor Dalek Specials . These are just getting better & better & I think many thanks should go to Ben Robinson at Eaglemoss for posting all of the info , & all the DWFC team for bringing us these fantastic figurines.
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 5:05pmIt’s a pity he only told us 2 new regulars though.
booboo
April 6th, 2015 - 5:31pmin a way but its nice not to know to far in advance so we get a surprise every now and then
Its very much appreciated the way they are interacting with their customers though
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 6:40pmVery friendly editors, not something that people generally think of about editors.
Good surprises are good, but I expect the only ones not to be announced early will be the ones that they don’t expect to sell well anyway.
Anonymous
April 7th, 2015 - 4:17pmI suspect they’ll be waiting for the figurines to be ready in some form before they start announcing so they can give us an idea what they look like. Look at the announcement we just had, everything is into development but most is in the early stages (they haven’t even been able to locate a picture of the Supreme Council Member figurine or at least its renders, although they know they exist somewhere).
They’ll probably have the collection mapped out firmly everything up to about issue 65, with only a rough idea what things will be like after that (I’m saying 65, because 66 would be exactly one year after issue 40 which contained the first 2014 character figure, so 66 would be rough placement for a minimum for the first 2015 character figure).

April 6th, 2015 - 3:36pmWonder how hes going to hold up the emperors life support cables ??
Funko pop crazy Ross
April 6th, 2015 - 6:36pmmy thoughts exactly
Thewhomobile
April 6th, 2015 - 11:41amDoes anybody else think that now the figurine collection have achieved better results with the human sculpts that they should rerelease the 11th Doctor in his purple outfit….because issue 1 is actually terrible in comparison and way to specific.
TardisMike
April 6th, 2015 - 11:44amYep!
Better results respect the paint work too
booboo
April 6th, 2015 - 11:45ami doubt they will go back over figures but i know here your coming from
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 2:48pmThe Eleventh Doctor figurine suits him as he never felt like a real Doctor so neither does his figurine. Works for me.
Funko pop crazy Ross
April 6th, 2015 - 6:38pm“never felt like a real Doctor” you’re hardly being serious are you? That’s like if I said that McGann “never felt like a real Doctor” because he only had an episode and a minisode. You are very insulting.
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 6:48pmPaul McGann felt more like the Doctor in five minutes than Matt Smith did in half his entire run. I’m not trying to be insulting but Smith always felt like someone else pretending to be the Doctor and not very convincingly imo. Though I think it was the writing more than the acting.
Funko pop crazy Ross
April 6th, 2015 - 6:59pmHow could he be seen as someone else pretending to be the Doctor, each incarnation is quite different from the last. You don’t see people going around and saying Capaldi is just another Tom Baker wannabe and is trying too hard, because he isn’t- I think it’s wrong that you would think that. Obviously a tennant fangirl still not coping with his regeneration into Smith very well is all I can say…
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 7:01pmI like Eccleston, Pertwee Tom Baker, Troughton and McGann more than Tennant who had a terrible regeneration, but at least he felt like the Doctor.
TardisMike
April 6th, 2015 - 11:03amDid you notice a missing piece of skin between the Beast figure lips?
I mean: http://www.worldsofimagination.co.uk/Dr_who_the_beast.jpg
booboo
April 6th, 2015 - 11:06amyou couldn’t mould that, only as a separate part, wouldn’t be worth it or cost effective i would think
TardisMike
April 6th, 2015 - 11:43amProbably as a separate part, booboo (in my opinion 😉 )
VespiformsSting
April 6th, 2015 - 8:29pmGet a bit of bubble gum give it a chew and stretch…one ghastly skin lip piece

April 6th, 2015 - 7:56amStill hoping for human dalek hybrid for the collection
TardisMike
April 6th, 2015 - 10:15amIn the first list was present.
Probably will arrive.
Thewhomobile
April 6th, 2015 - 11:46amYea sec hybrid would be a great addition, I’m hoping for Clockwork droids 2006,werewolf, novice hame,Moxx, face of bow,gas mask zombies, gelth, Anndroid, plenty more classics also! I would love to see an auton as well as that’s very simple.
booboo
April 6th, 2015 - 11:53ami would like to see some “different” stuff to be honest, figures that have not been done before
Daffodil Auton, monoids, yeti, Jackson lake, Cyberdog things, Wirryn (would love to see a harrop wirrn, might be to delicate though) the list goes
They have said however that as long as enough people keep buying, they will keep making so who knows where we will end up
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 2:50pmI still want Clockwork Droids, Krillitane and Sec Hybrid, but other than that classics, Linx the Sontaran, Styggron the Kraal, Menoptera, Zarbi, Classic Silurian, Sharaz Jek, Haemavore etc
VespiformsSting
April 6th, 2015 - 4:28pmPersonally I think the Dalek human hybrid looks stupid…..just me I suppose…the grotesque blob in the glass dalek in ‘Revelation’ is far more horrific and convincing…and keeps being ignored by all the manufacturers…..
TardisMike
April 6th, 2015 - 5:27pmJust us I suppose, Vespiforms 😀
I really want the glass dalek!
Funko pop crazy Ross
April 6th, 2015 - 6:41pmI am hoping for a lazarus creature figurine special

April 6th, 2015 - 11:47pmSec Hybrid is pretty much confirmed now. Though it won’t be in the pose of the pic on Ben Robinson’s Twitter

April 6th, 2015 - 12:25amHave people already received the rusty Dalek because I don’t know whether I was supposed to get a delivery or not

Doctor Stu
April 7th, 2015 - 3:54pmI’m a subscriber but it still hasn’t come yet ill have to ring up
Thewhomobile
April 5th, 2015 - 10:26pmThese are all very exciting, although The Beast has green eyes? They need to be black with a light pupil.
Can anyone post a list of all the figurines issues we know so far please?
Issue 43 Rusty
Issue 44 classic cyberman?…
TardisMike
April 5th, 2015 - 10:37pm44 Tenth Planet Cyberman
45 Robot Knight
46 Cassandra
47 Third Doctor
48 The Teller
49 Master (from Deadly Assasin)
50 Emperor Davros

April 5th, 2015 - 9:40pmHey Booboo and guys you could use the emperor Dalek for the 3.75 evil of the daleks figures!
VespiformsSting
April 5th, 2015 - 9:17pmThe Emperor – well at last – excellent news !!!!! Someone must have thought how can I shut that moaning VespiformsSting up 😀 😀 😀 !!!! And that McCoy is superb too can’t wait to see the other Doctors……
Now if he’d announce the K3 ‘tribble’ space station, the Doomsday Machine and Nomad in the star trek set Id be extremely happy……
TardisMike
April 6th, 2015 - 10:27amI hope a Glass Dalek and a Dalek Time Controller too, but it’s hope too much maybe 😀
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 11:01amThey said they can’t do the Glass Dalek at all because of the material.
VespiformsSting
April 6th, 2015 - 3:18pmWhy ?? They did the visor in the Vastha Neradas suit and Morbius brain casing ??
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 4:14pmAfter having another look, it isn’t a definite no, only a “very unlikely” as it’s “very very complicated”

April 6th, 2015 - 5:07pmWell all character options need do is reuse their spiridon invisi-dalek with a sculpted stengos inside…voila one Revelation dalek……issue it with the decoy davros in the glass tube…that might look quite impressive….
The Sons of Skaro
April 5th, 2015 - 9:10pmYyyyeeeesssss, seventh Doc at last!
Sam Richard Bentley
April 5th, 2015 - 7:12pmThe Seventh Doctor looks great. Can’t wait to see a painted version!
ASTER
April 5th, 2015 - 6:10pmPaul McGann has personally chose the 8th Doctor costume that he wants the figurine to represent
Sam Richard Bentley
April 5th, 2015 - 6:20pmI reckon Paul would choose the Night costume – unless they did the Dark Eyes costume, which would be very surprising! But a nice surprise, I’m sure.
Anonymous
April 5th, 2015 - 7:17pmHe designed the Dark Eyes costume himself so its “his” costume you could argue (plus, he’d be the one you’d have to go to for the rights clearance on it, so you could kill two birds with one stone).
VespiformsSting
April 5th, 2015 - 10:48pmSurely he should wear one of his two ‘televised’ costumes ??
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 2:47pmThey only have licence for TV so either Movie or NOTD it is
The Werewolf
April 6th, 2015 - 6:41pmFor the same reason the Time Controller Dalek is a definite no-no at present.
ASTER
April 5th, 2015 - 6:05pmThe special after The Beast will be The Emperor Dalek from Evil of the Daleks

April 5th, 2015 - 6:11pmBrilliant

Cyberman Bill
April 5th, 2015 - 8:19pmYeah…. Why is there tons of little holes in him? I just re watched the episode and there were no wood worm holes! The original photo was superb. This…. Uhh… I guess I’ll wait to see the final product. I was going to get this, but now I’ll wait and see but I am definitely getting the evil Dalek emperor and the 7th Doctor
