All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered.

The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.

Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.

Just called them again today and they said about it being a test period and that I wouldn’t receive anything until if/when they launch! I wish they wouldn’t lead us on saying it was a stock issue when they never planned to send it out to subscribers until offical launch. If I’d have known I would have just bought them from my newsagent!

That must be part of the test then, see how many people buy it then subscribe without actually sending them anything.

The vast majority of people subscribing to this will have no idea this is a test

      April 12th, 2013 - 1:22pm

Yeah, probably only wanted to get it in shops so people saw it and subscribed to it and those who already had subscribed had done what they wanted, so didn’t worry and wanted to only use issues to sell to those who hadn’t yet subscribed.

    • booboo

      April 12th, 2013 - 1:25pm

I would think so but the order may change, issue 5 is the last one in the test, long wait until official launch now (if it was successful)

What A disgrace to lie to us. If I would have known I would have bought issues 2,3,4, from the shops. I suspect a lot of people bought issue 1, and then did not bother to buy anymore as they had subscribed and assumed they would come through the post. I thought it was about how many they sold, when in fact, based on this info its on how many people subscribe. At least I picked up issues 5 today.

Have been looking since issue #1!!
I’ve seen a few comments quoting they have seen some in Aylesbury (the nearest apparent seller) after scanning the area I still couldn’t find the magazine anywhere!!
Any one got a specific place in Aylesbury or Gt.missenden either is fine!

Called up today and was told no ones getting anything as they can’t honour the subscriptions. Utter shambles πŸ™
