Dr Who Figurine Collection Issue #206 Borad

Say hello to an old enemy of the doctor, the Doctor Who: Borad Figurine has become a part of our huge collection of Doctor Who Figurine Collection.

An old enemy of the Doctor, Borad, formerly known as Megelen, was the all-powerful dictator of the planet Karfel. A brilliant but unethical scientist, Borad fused himself with reptilian tissue to increase his own lifespan, hiding his hideous mutations from his subjects with clones and technological trickery.

Borad used his Timelash technology to dispose of dissidents, sending them back in time to 12th century Scotland. His reign ended only once the Sixth Doctor revealed his evil deeds along with his true form, driving him into a fit of madness. Ultimately, Borad was hurled into his own Timelash and stranded in the distant past where the Doctor thought he might have become the Loch Ness Monster!

The Doctor Who: Borad Figurines are created in hand-painted resin, featuring show accurate details in 1:21 scale.

Product features:

  • Hand-painted in amazing detail
  • Scale: 1:21

Not sure where to post this but I heard that Neil is stepping down as the editor of the Figurine Collection magazine early this year. I’m sure I’m not alone in thanking him for all his work on this most fantastic collection and also for taking the time to join in this forum even when it’s not been entirely positive. All of his enthusiasm, insight and not least patience have been much appreciated! Best of luck with whatever his new venture will be.

Good luck to his successor too and maybe he’ll be able to deliver that damn Krarg figurine! 😉

Oh and I quite like the Borad figurine! The best element in a story that it is in my opinion the very nadir of ‘Who’ old or new and was when I gave up on the show first time round!

Doug, wonder if this is a sign that the collections coming to an end and no one will be replacing Neil running the magazine for Eaglemoss Dr Who.

      Hi Coleman,

No Mark Wright is taking over from issue 213 I think. Whether it’s just for these final issues or there will be an extension, I don’t know. Even if the regular issues do end, there’ll probably be more sold through the shop as per other collections.

By the way all the best for 2022 to you, Booboo, Ergon, Tim and everyone who uses the site. Looking forward to seeing what is in store (if we’re lucky in regards to B&M) for us this year!
