Doctor Who The Triple Knife And Other Doctor Who Stories
Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk
Join the women of the Whoniverse for five thrilling Doctor Who adventures by Sunday Times bestselling author Jenny T. Colgan.
Ashildr, a young Viking girl, died bravely helping the Doctor save the village she loved – so the Doctor used alien technology to bring her back to life. Ashildr became immortal and, since that day, has kept journals to chronicle her extraordinary life. ‘The Triple Knife’ is a glimpse into the life of a woman who lived longer than anyone ever should – and lost more than she can even remember.
‘Picnic at Asgard’ drops in on another woman of the Whoniverse who never fails to find herself too far from danger and excitement. And when you’re married to a Time Lord, what more can you expect? This adventure, extracted from her journal, reveals still more about the legendary River Song.
‘Into the Nowhere’ follows the Eleventh Doctor and Clara as they land on an unknown alien planet. To the Doctor’s delight and Clara’s astonishment, it really is unknown. It’s a planet the Doctor has never seen. It’s not on any maps, it’s not referenced on any star charts or in the TARDIS data banks. It doesn’t even have a name. What could be so terrible here that has been erased?
This collection also includes two further adventures ‘All The Empty Towers’ and ‘A Long Way Down’ – a short story never published in volume form before.

April 25th, 2018 - 2:54pmNice covers, But I do wish BBC books (or BBC pr) would finish press releases rather than do a..oh contains other stuff. at the end , as though they have used up thier word count.
And I wonder what, a story never published in Volume before means.
The Triple Knife is from the Legends of Ashildir
Picnic at Asgard is from the river song diaries
into the nowhere comes from Time Trips.
A long way down, also from Time Trips
and All the empty Towers comes from the Scientific secrets of Doctor who
So ALL have been in a volume …printed and collected.
Which is fine, its nice to get stuff all in one place by the same Author, but its sort of tries to make out something is new or at least in a new formatt.
great covers though,

April 25th, 2018 - 3:46pmA long way down wasn’t printing in the book of time trips itself but as a fold out cover. That’s all it means

April 25th, 2018 - 10:47pmStill it was included as part of a book. This makes it sound more like a first time printing.
I understood it was in the paperback edition as a story, as the wrap-up cover was not an option.
I just find some of the blurbs to be very exciting, attantion grabbing, then 3/4 the way through, its like they have run out of steam, and just go, oh and there is this, and this as well.
just frustrating really.
