1.cyber war- it would try and fix all the continuity problems plaguing the cybermen of late. It would bring to the attention of the casual veiwer the exsitance of our universes cybermen and how, originialy they where at war with their lumic counterparts, this episode would focus on a world caught in the middle if their climatic battle, and would also deal with the doctor trying to put the events in place for their eventual union into the cyberlegions seen in nightmare in silver

July 28th, 2013 - 3:07pmI do like the idea of what they did with the End of time, and had stwo specials, one on christmas and one on new year, I think they should do that this year. Then naybe every year depending on the storylines. Then for the actual series, I think we need to go back to shorter episodes, longer stories, strech them out so they are like movies, just split up, because thats essentially what the classic series was. 🙂

– Ditch Clara quick (!)
– Slow the pace down of the show i.e take the time to develop stories “properly” (so we can actually UNDERSTAND THEM)
– Don’t rush the delivery of the dialogue
– Return UNIT to it’s old roots with a new Brigadier character
– Stop the Doctor spurting out uber-cool references to try and look “modern”
– Return the Doctor to a sexless character who doesn’t fall in love and want to kiss everybody in sight!
– Remove all the overblown silliness and dumbing down of the show.

July 28th, 2013 - 1:52pmI want a modern episode with the daleks or cybermen, with them going around a place we can associate with and killing people (I know it sounds harsh, but I think the new cyberman and new daleks need a episode like that to make them scary again) or a episode with something like daleks in the antartic or cybermen in a forest or something, I don’t know why, I just fancy that.

They are infected and have thing across there faces, and a new CYBER- EMPEROR is created. So what do you think?

July 28th, 2013 - 1:50pmThat would be awsome, but maybe they could ad an aspect of a resistance group of ice warriors who have religous fixation on their own cyber armor, and maybe the doctor has to prevent them from taking a mass sucide ounce the realization hits tht these so called cyber-warriors are more formidable and resilient, and it puts there whole society and honor sustem in doubt.

July 28th, 2013 - 1:53pmQuestion, when are we actually going to meet nice Ice Warriors again. I know, everybody hated them in ‘The Curse Of Peladon’, but at least a mention. There could be a story in the future where the Ice Warriors are still in the Galactic Federation, but as in ‘The Monster Of Peladon’, we could meet a resistance group. At least a mention so we don’t completely forget that the Ice Warriors are good people at heart (even if that heart is cold-blooded).

July 28th, 2013 - 1:56pmSTOP KILLING THE DALEKS, its getting very annoying seeing all the continuity errors bringing them back again and again. What the daleks really need to is scary again, ever since their embarrassing outing in “asylum”, where it seemed they where all on the verge of pissing their shells at the sight of the doctor. Daleks shouldn’t act like that, they should be ruthless, angry exterminating machines ready AND willing to attack the doctor no matter their chances of survival.

All he did was rehash his old formula off taking something mundane and making it scary, in this case wi-fi and regular people. You wanna talk about something he promised us but where still missing from last season, how about yetis. Ounce he brought back the great intelegiance i thought he would finally repair a number of misgivings by bringing back the yetis but all we got was a poorly written great intelegiance story arc and 0, count em, 0 yetis

And unfortanatly series 8 will be cut up into 2 years like series 7. Most likely 5 episodes in 2014 and the rest in 2015.

Casualty is a very different show to Doctor Who though so is hardly comparable. To create the technical quality of the new series you would need more time.

July 29th, 2013 - 9:43amthere are many, many talented writers around and i dont understand why they cant produce 13 good stories, with a couple of those being outstanding a series. Many of Matts episodes have been highly forgettable unfortunately (and some of DT’s)
I think they are trying to tell to bigger stories in to shorter time.
